I apologize if this is a post that has already been made, and if it is, if someone could direct me to it, I would appreciate it, unfortunately through my searches and browsings I could find nothing on the subject.

If not, here's the issue:
My Xbox recently got the e74, this essentially forced me to go get my wifes christmas gift early (Her own box). And I know that as far as swapping hard drives, it's really not that difficult or any sort of issue. I am the only one with xbl on my account, so I redeemed the BD armor and Shale codes, and by golly, they worked for her account without a problem.

Well once I switched the hard drive to the new box I was able to play my game, no problems, had all the dlc's. But when my wife tried to play she goes to load her game, on which she had shale and the BD armor, and it tells her that the content isn't available. So, I go in, delete the content, then re download it, because with the wonders of technology I know that corruption is possible. But even after the file replacement, her game told her no, and she had to start over with none of the perks.

Did a patch come out that I was unaware of that now makes only the account that downloads it able to use it and not universal over the box itself? Because it worked just fine when we first got the game.

Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated. The wife was rather dejected when she had to start all the way over again, and I can't say I blame her.

There might be a problem with the licenses on the console.

You could try the following tool from xbox.com: http://www.xbox.com/en-GB/support/drm/

(Warning: You will only be able to transfer the licenses once a year!)

Alright, will this prevent me from using those licenses with my xbox after I get it repaired?

It sucks but if all else fails connect to xbox live and play, at least this game gives you a reson to do it to upload info.
