There was a thread like this once that got deleted/closed. But anyway.

In theory, some turians. Though in theory I'm pansexual.
It's a beauty-and-the-beast thing, a "skull designs look appealing" thing, and an attraction to danger. And the voices. And well, the very-human-personality of course. Mauro2222 is right though, if what mattered was really the physical, "ugly" people wouldn't be getting married all the time :) Watch the documentary Taboo and be amazed.
However I don't date, so even humans are a no for me.

I don't think the game looks like a cartoon, I can imagine it all being a live-action movie during some scenes, like a Hellboy movie type of costume/makeup. Now SWTOR... that looks like a cartoon.
Aliens' xenomorphs are much more like a varren than anything else on ME. Plus they drool acid. (they're still pretty cool - I love HR Giger) Turians are more like a Sinclair family member from the Dinosaurs tv show.

Still I feel silly discussing fiction as it were real, and arguing if some people would or would not actually date an alien if it existed... sounds like people telling me I wouldn't fly if I had wings because of my fear of hights. (cause I'm so gonna prove you wrong when it happens).
So I guess I'll go read some graphic xenomorph fanfiction instead.

This is why mass effect fans are f**king weird.

I will stick to my own kind fanks very much. And even at that I;m very picky... no fat chicks.

Id rather do a blue twiilek then an asari honestly.

Sure. I find that one can still engage in a mutually beneficial relationship with probably almost any species. Though I don't think it would be possible for a human to get into a successful serious relationship with say, a hanar, elcor or volus. Or at least, if they did, there would be big limits on what one can do.

Nope. Actually, it did more of the opposite.

Mass Effect made me realize that in order to find someone or something attractive, he/she/it must possess at least some human qualities.

Liara, Tali, Samara, Garrus, etc. -- all aliens in the ME universe have some humanity in them. That's why it's possible for the players to find them attractive in the first place. If these characters were truly alien then no one would want to romance them.

Answer to OP's question: Eeeer... no. I still prefer living, breathing nice ladies whom I can get to know and learn to love and vice versa. What kind of question is this anyway?

I think a Tali kind of thing might fly. Its general kind of a troubling and cool idea. Is it a taboo or is it more spiritual and optimistic to go through with that. Talis species in general have a nice form. Nice breast, nice hips, and as revealed a pretty face. The personalities, ways of thinking are not that different either. Its human enough to at least be considered. However, if she looked like a Hannar and still was as cute a personality, there would just be no way. I have this same problem with a Garrus. They are just way too different.

All in all...if we were to think of it as real...I'd take a Kasumi over all of them. I like Tali but I like 5 fingers and toes, and eyes that don't glow like a nightlight too on my women....lol

Hmm no ...

What I am attracted to of looks and personality is "hardcoded" into me and haven't really changed (maybe slightly molded with age).

Then there are some things that just doesn't matter to me.

Aslong as the particular alien has more positives than negatives theyve got a shot (now I scared them off). *lol*

I don't really get the "EW 3 TOES!" argument eg.

What if your better half was in an accident and ... lost 2 toes eg. ? Divorce?

Or would it take xyz % disfigurement ?

I hope we would stick together unless the experience made us evolve in different directions.

Sleeping with aliens.

Well to be honest. You're not exactly Captain Krik.

At most you get to sleep with three different aliens in the entire trilogy (unless I'm mistaken).
By the time Shepard has slept with 3 different people, Kirk would have slept with 30.

By the time Mass Effect 1 starts Xeno sexuality is normal. Heck no one raises an eyebrow to Joker having a romance with a robot (which is probably robo sexuality?).

I bet some people in the Fox News team were relieved when they found out that there was only one sex scene per playthrough in Mass Effect 1 as opposed to the sexual marathon they imagined it to be.

Oh to answer the question.

Mass Effect hasn't made me xeno-sexual.

It is literally impossible for me to be xeno-sexual since there are no aliens for me to sleep with. Neither do I have the desire to be xeno-sexual. That position won't change unless I have first contact.

Silly question.

At coles4971 .  I wonder what your friend GMagnum would have said about this thread.

I don't think the question would be whether YOU found the aliens attractive, I think it's more if THEY found you attractive.

Or tasty.

Whichever.

Why would they find us humans attractive?

Humans have hair.
Aliens probably find hair to be disgusting.

Except of course Quarians. They have hair too apparantly.
They apparantly look like humans except blue and three fingers.
They also apparantly look like Getty Images.
