Look, I am really open to new ideas.
If you truly believe this weapon to be that good, just share your build with us and tell us how to play it properly. I'd really like to use a full-auto weapon in this game, every now and then.
Furthermore, since you play on PC, nothing stops you from recording a game with Fraps and posting it on youtube.
EDIT: guys, watch your manners. I believe the OP to be a girl

I've used the revenant successfully on gold before and gotten decent scores but it's not because the weapon is good. If you really think it's that good, write a build guide and show some proof of this supposed dominance, because quite frankly I don't see any build that could make the revenant what I'd consider good.

My 2 primary builds are simple:
GI:
4/5/6/6/5
All damage boni where applicable, hardware for shields
GE:
No overload
Turret for healing, Hm for weapon boni, hardware for shields and ai for damage
Else i use the revenant on anything but do not get it to work on vanguard without cooldown amp, yet...

If another weapon does the same job better, you're not using a great weapon.
I've also seen you suggest buffs for the weapon... which would be silly if you honestly thought it was great as is.

Or instead have 2 useless valiants and eagle
@buff comment
Yes, because i think the majority of gamers will not make this gun work even remotely without it being buffed and i see it being rather weak outside hm when i dont get "close" or have cover to hammer from
But all you darn naps *curses* are crying it suxx without having mastered it

Crap, I did it again, didn't I? I used logic in an e-peen fight. Sorry.
The I've been very successful with the Revenant on my Turian Sentinel on gold. I'm not often first in score, but I'm usually #2, sometimes 3. Never last. I don't play that character to top the irrelevant scoreboard; he's about crowd control. Chain overload with stun, warp to set up BE and an LMG that staggers enemies surprisingly often. I can't count how often I've saved a teammate by doing a brief little Rambo spoof, giving them the time to get to cover or recharge their shields. You have the durability to keep firing between power-spam while your squishier teammates recover, and you set them up for elemental/tech/biotic combos.
Armor's a challenge, but with piercing mod and an ammo power most of that problem goes away.
EDIT: I did some quick checking via games registered to profiles, and while my hypothesis about console/PC split about the weapon held up, the correlation's not perfect.
Also, I'm aware that the Turian Soldier is the go-to character for this gun, but I've found the durability on my sentinel (as well as the powers) to be too attractive to give up so easily. I'll have to try my soldier again, but my major fear is not having the durability to use the long clips to their fullest.

That might be a very good point.
Mouse and Keyboard allow for extemely accurate control of the game.

Note: Too much stability will cause the weapon to "kick"...downward. It's annoying.

So, all the people in the thread so far that HATE the Revenant are on Xbox, and the defender is PC? I'm PC too, and I like the gun. Maybe it's because we're using a mouse to aim instead of a controller; it's easier to compensate for the recoil.

I'm on Xbox and I love, I didn't say Turian Sentinel anyways. Turian Soldier with Marksman and Proxy mine maxed with weapon stability and damage will destroy with this weapon. See an atlas no problem shoot a Proxy mine with 20% more damage taken for 8 seconds then shoot it several times until marksman is available then activate that.

Truly these people who hate it have not tried their best with it. Hell, I might pick it up again just for kicks. To bad I dont want to spend money on recording devices to prove myself.
My own word is law! I demand you hates to heed me or die in the ending of ME3!
We can do this the easy way or the hard way, the choice is yours.....

Hey, anything works on a Geth Infiltrator. Anything, even a Viper.
Just saying.

Agree with this, too. The best thing I can think of doing with it is taking it on a Geth Infiltrator, but then I'd wonder why I am not using a Claymore or Hurricane instead.

Right, you are saying our problem is bad aim when you can't even top the scoreboard in a game full of terrible players, ok, that makes sense.
The problem with the revenant is not the recoil, it's how inaccurate it is, even when 100% stable and fired from cover it has terrible spread. If I aim for someones head a lot of the bullets are going to miss because of said terrible spread. That spread pattern, that you can't do anything about, is the problem, not the recoil.
