I'll send you mine if there is one in my SE box :)
Dropped it at home without opening but i think every SE have 1pass. Not sure tough.

Edit:
You can start downloading the client from D3 main web site.

Edit part 2: I think everybody can log on as Starter Edition user and kill Skeleton King/level up to 13.

So far it`s awesome. Much less creepy and dark than the first 2 game but im still in act 1. But I already see the polishing they did . The animation is phenomenal (Those spider crawling down were epic)..

Oh and FRESH MEAT!! !!!

My Hero name is Jupet BTW (Monk)

Back TO my D3 marathon.

Since I'm not going to be getting D3 anytime soon, I went ahead and watched all the cutscenes. Blizzard stories are so damn predictable when it comes to the antagonist.

I'd love to tell you how I'm finding D3, but you see, the servers are down.

Have logged exactly 0 minutes today.

But hey, let's make it so you can't play single-player offline.

Thats exactly why I'm not going to be getting D3. I don't understand why they can't just enable an offline mode for people that don't want anything to do with multiplayer.

Wasn't able to log in last night, going to try again tonight, it did give my time to finish my D2 playthrough however. The Prime Evils and the cow king lie defeated in their full 800x600 resolution horror.

But seriously, after the open beta mess Blizzard still didn't plan for this? Good work.

What is the main appeal of this game? Is it the co-op and PvP features?

I've watched a number of gameplay videos and I'm having a bit of difficulty understanding why it's so popular. Perhaps I'm missing something, but it looks very repetitive.

It's a mess so far. Annoying online authenticated play.

The gameplay is repetitive.   It's like Gauntlet though.  I guess it can be somewhat enjoyable with friends.

The atmosphere & music was really good in Diablo 1, but it seems with each newer version they have gotten a bit 'softer' , so to speak.

I don't think the gameplay is repetitive. You are constantly gaining new skills, fighting new enemies and there are 5 completely distinct classes. Yes, Gauntlet was repetitive, but you didn't have those things. The appeal is the gameplay, if you don't like that you won't like the game.

The only thing I hate right now is the need to be online to play other than that great game. Still on Act 1 but oh man a tragedy has happened I think old Diablo players will be sad.

Thanks Cyberarmy!

Edit: Well damn I can't play because it's a European key and changing server location doesn't help. :crying:

I haven't logged any time on D3 yet either, and it has nothing to do with their servers. Apparently you can't authenticate the game without also giving a Zip code for auction house purposes. Unfortunately, my account erronously says I live in the United States (I actually live in Canada). I didn't realize this would be a problem, so I never got it changed. Now I have to wait for customer support to change that. I wonder how long the wait time is for customer support during a launch week....

There are plenty of cheesy dialogue and over the top voice acting in this game. Nonetheless, I like the art style and this new graphics/physics engine Blizzard has implemented. Gameplay is fun too!

Like I said before, do people even play Blizzard games for story or the fantastic gameplay?

"Gaining new skills".

How is skill distribution? Are the trees nice and complex?

Nope and it's one of my biggest gripes with the game. They streamlined EVERYTHING. Heck, they even streamlined the supposedly robust Rune system. Now each skill just has like, 5 runes you can unlock total...instead of tiers.

Not only that, I have no control over my character stats. If I want a pure strength build on my Barb...I have to do it purely through items. Blizzard decides where the points go as you level. That's annoying and it cuts down on customization. Same with the runes and skill trees being streamlined. I don't care what Blizzard's expalantion is.

That being said, I'm still loving it.

If anybody wants to play sometime, let me know. I play on US servers...=]
