But yeah, the game is still pretty fun in spite of it. Though I have quite a few friends to play with.

I don't think the gameplay is repetitive. You are constantly gaining new skills, fighting new enemies and there are 5 completely distinct classes. Yes, Gauntlet was repetitive, but you didn't have those things. The appeal is the gameplay, if you don't like that you won't like the game.
"Gaining new skills".
How is skill distribution? Are the trees nice and complex?
There are no trees.

Thanks Cyberarmy!
Edit: Well damn I can't play because it's a European key and changing server location doesn't help.

Holy crap...I don't even...how is a skill tree like that even possible without serious bugs/polish/balance issues lol?
I hope that game doesn't have serious PvP...lol.

The gameplay was from the very first hour of the game, you don't get much of variety at all at that point.naughty99 wrote...
That is certainly an interesting skill tree!
However, the gameplay footage looks repetitive as hell, like some sort of scrolling zombie browser game.

Why do you hope that?
Anyway, here's another vid by TotalHalibut (2:24 for the skill tree):
The game's basically kickstarting as well, as you could see here (there's a bit of a manifesto going on that page also - like how the devs are 100% opposed to "pay2win").

I'm just saying...a skill tree that big is going to have some MAJOR balance issues, especially in PvP.

So far Diablo 3 seems simple but fun. It was pretty much what I expected, and I'm happy with it. That said, I have only played it about 3 hours at this point.

Same here. I supplement it with other games when I need a break from constant left clicking.

This is enough reason for me not to buy D3. It's a waste of my time if it feels easy.

You have to pay real money to use legendary. This is outrageous.
