This has never happened to me before in the 8 other times I've completed Mass Effect 2. After I hit the Start button on the title screen and the screen fades to black, I get the "This disc is unreadable" message. I have two copies of ME2 and I tried them both, but neither of them work. Then, I tried signing in with a different profiel, and it works just fine. But once I try to sign in with my profile, I can't get past the title screen. Does anyone know why the game is doing this?

i am having the same problem, i cannot play the game period because of this. and when i contacted EA tech support i was told to delete everything related to the game and start from scratch.
i refuse to do that, now the game is just space filler on my shelf...
it would be nice to get some real help regarding this as i am as frustrated as im sure you are...

I had to delete anything I had saved from previous play throughs of ME2, and now I can play again. Having to re DL all my DLC mind you - very annoying!

I had this happen me before but I just restarted my X-Box and it worked fine
