He was a great character until they turned him into yet another indictrinated mook.
That part just cheapens Cerbersus and the Illusive Man. I'd much rather they weren't indoctrinated, just using Reaper tech for their own ends.

Agreed. I would have preferred if Cerberus was trying to stop the Reapers. Using Reaper/Collector tech to try and ensure they come out on top after the war. They would still be the enemy, but an enemy in their own right.
But nooo, they're just indoctrinated puppets of the Reapers... And it seems like we fight them more than the actual Reapers!

Yeah I should have clarified, ME2 Illusive man was exceptionally well written...ME3 he kinda got shafted into being a generic power hungry madman with a god complex, not cool.

True again, but being indoctrinated at the same time just makes everything worse in my mind.

Yeah, although I think the indoctrination was the saving grace for TIM in my mind, otherwise his sudden personality change would just have been an inconsistency. Seeing him lose who he was to indoctrination made me pity him. I didn't ever agree with his morals but I respected him as a person, but in the end he became just another tool...similar to Saren actually, I had a lot of respect for him (again not his morals =P).The Night Mammoth wrote...

Though with EDI and Liara gone I'm only left with the human whose name I can't even remember. WTB more human squad mates BioWare. Death to aliens.

As far as I know there is no law or forum requirement to tell me that being anti-alien is racist and forbidden, since, you know, we are not even sure aliens exist. You are complaining about me being racist towards fictional races, THAT is ridiculous.
It's a hypothetical and your viewpoint regarding the hypothetical is abhorrent.
This 'argumentum ad itsfictionsoshutup' is pretty fallacious, as shown here:
Person 1: "If there were no police I would go rape and murder some babies!"
Person 2: "I think you are a horrible person"
Person 1: "Well, law enforcement does exists so your opinion about me is silly and ridiculous since we are just talking about a fictional scenario!"
Can you see where the problem is?
No, I don't see any problem with Person 1 being rational.

Nah, the aliens are entertaining. Unlike the generic humans that are so bland that people can't even remember their names.
As for EDI, what do people think AI stands for? If Legion have had more time with his new AI form, he probably would have behaved in a similar way at one point.

Then you sir are a troll and/or being deliberately contrary. No normal human being gets urges to rape and kill babies regardless of circumstance. There is no circumstance in which it is justifiable or rational to commit such actions.

No forum rule no, but ethically I am repulsed by the implications of what you said and personally in my eyes you represent many aspects of the human personality that I find abhorrent. That clear things up for you?
There will always be people like me. People who love what we are. People who will preserve our identity. "You can't kill the idea", afterall. And I am sure that if/when we will make contact with aliens, there will be people like me on the Earth.

Sorry, but those two things are pretty much the same once you heighten up the ante.
When Europe started to colonize the Americas, the indigenous people there were thought to be subhuman by our european standards and were treated like animals. Though I agree, that we must be wary of aliens that are contacting us, we do not necessarily need to dominate them. Peaceful coexistence is possible.
If a being exists, that is not human and has the same intelligence as one and is not entirely aggressive towards us we should not step into the same mistakes as our ancestors and exact our superiority complex on it. In our ancestors cause it was skin color, in the Mass Effect Universe's case it's Species.
Hmm... That was neccessary, I believe. Europeans were advancing Humanity through determination on the way of progress. Their work resulted in the modern civilization.

He is rational, because he is keeping his urges in check and is not acting upon it. You can't judge people by what they think. You shoul look on what they do, Sociopaths are part of our society, whether you like it or not.

I heard Marvel was going to reboot the Spiderman movies. I really hope it's tied into the Avergers universe that they are running with. I heard there was 2 scenes after the credits, so don't spoil it for me if this is one of them.
Yay Spiderman.
I do believe Marvel is tieing all their movies into the same movie universe - they still trying to figure out what to do with X-men because the writers keep ****ING UP.... My god Alex Summers... Scotts older yet young brother. Fassenberger and the guy that played Xavier saved that movie.

I actually lol'd very hard and I agree. We were allowed to show our dislike for AI and synthetics in ME1/2, so I don't know why Bioware decided that everyone would be ok with this.
Unless you're playing a different game to me then you can still do that.
