Not quite. It doesn't go anywhere on the political spectrum, because it doesn't fit the ideals of either side.

Right wing is freedom and progress at the expense of equality, left wing is equality and security at the expense of freedom.

Facism is sacrificing freedom, liberty, and equality, so....

It actually has qualities of both sides. Most people put it on the right if they have to, simply for conveinence. There are plenty of books that explain it.

But I suppose technically it's unclassifiable.

Liberals are moderate lefties. Socialists are less moderate, but tolerable. Communists are extremists to the point of losing almost all connections with liberals. Same with Right-wing. Conservatives are moderate while fascists are extremists and should not be associated with conservatives as there are too many differences and oddly, communists and naz*s/fascists are much closer to each other than to their respective moderate counterparts. I am hardcore Conservative and a Republican.

Miranda wants the best for humanity, if you listen to her throughout ME2 however she actually tones her more extreme views down regarding human dominance after spending time with Shepard.

You are a terrible person. You are also wrong in your assertion that everyone loves Miranda.

The laziness of this argument is approaching creationist levels. It boils down to:

1. Miranda is a human supremacist.

2. Everyone loves Miranda.

Therefore human supremacism is a sound and reasonable ideology.


Please take note of how none of the premises have to be/are justified in any way.

Not to de-rail the thread totally (although considering the original topic, is that such a bad thing?), but considering that labels like 'Left-/Right-Wing' and 'Socialism/Capitalism' are more rooted in the 'economic' part of 'socio-economic', I tend to use the 'political compass' model for gauging them with a view to civil liberties as well:






Case in point - Margaret Thatcher would be best described as 'further Right' than Hitler, but the conventional implications of such a statement are misleading. Same as simply branding Ghandi and Stalin 'Left Wing' - even calling Stalin more 'extreme Left' doesn't really cut it. Adding a 'y' axis for the sake of 'authoritarian/liberal' ranking allows for more accurate placement of people politically.
