If Bioware offered a pack that cost 500,000 credits which gave you only 1 thing that can be whatever you want, would you take it?

I would. I want that freakin' Geth Engineer and my freakin' Black Widow already. Enough with the character cards.
500,000? Way to much. 200K.
Checking your manifest, I can tell this was said out of ignorance, not stupidity.
Come back here when you have more stuff unlocked, and your realize you just spent 5M credits to get one level of one gun that you wanted.
500k is too little. I'd spend 1M credits on a packs that gave me nothing but Talons/Scorpions/Paladins/Claymores/Graals/BW

Yes. I've averaged ~700,000 credits per ultra rare drop for the past few weeks.
Sheesh, I'd take that ratio. Mine is way way way worse than that.

Well considering I lost lost all mt stuff... Nah, no need to be that picky at the moment
When did that happen?
As for the topic... yes. I would like to own an Indra, Valiant, or Eagle.

Yeah. Mine's like 1 per 2-3M credits. I've only got one ultra rare in the past 2 weeks. Luckily it was the one I really wanted (Scorpion). But still. Most of my ultrarares are too low level to use over my golds. I'd really like to level up my damn Talon.

So for those who say you should have to pay a million creds, would you REALLY forego buying 10 PSPs for just 1 item? That's at least 20 rares you're giving up for 1 item.

Good joke. Valiant is the only good thing in that list. Eagle and Indra are two of the worst guns in the whole game, even when compared to common/uncommon weapons.

I have seen the Valiant's performance, and I agree that it's quite effective. Regarding your comment on the other two weapons - I heard something similar about the Revenant. However, I tried it for myself and I love it. I'd just like the same opportunity with those other weapons...

I can't say I follow the people that say they think you should pay more for it.

Yes. Most of the rares I get are character cards. Usually the 2-3 I've already maxed out. And there are many rare guns that are useless. And even some n7s that are pretty terrible.
It takes me about 10 PSP's to get a rare I even want. It takes about 20 PSP's for me to get an n7. And probably 60PSP's to get an n7 I actually want.
I'd pay 500k credits to pick a gold. Easily. I'd probably pay 1M credits to pick a gold. I'd pay upwards of 2M credits to pick an n7.
I'd probably only pay 700k credits for an n7 pack. There are about 3 n7 weapons I don't want anything to do with, unless they get buffed. So 37.5% of them are useless to me, giving me only a 62.5% chance at success.

At this point...no. It's just a time issue more than anything. You will eventually get it them all if you keep playing.

I don't think you quite comprehend N7 rarity.
Looking at your manifest, you either have extreme luck or play way too much. Either way, it's not like that for everybody.

It sounds to me like you've been playing multiplayer a lot longer than I have so I'll defer to your judgment. Or maybe I've just been getting a little lucky with drops.nuculerman wrote...

Bit of both maybe?
So what if it isn't the same for everyone? The game can be played with any of the characters and any of the weapons on any of the levels. That's a fact. They might not be the optimal choices but they are all capable of completing the task at hand. Some of you feel the need to get it done faster because [insert special reason here]. Bleh. It's not a race.
Personally I'd like to see some stats on from Bioware on time vs. drops. My time may be compressed into a smaller window than some of you, but in the end I would bet that the total drops vs. time is nearly identical or close overall for everyone. That would be more telling of the big picture than the numerous 'I dun haz' threads that pop up continuously on the forum. IE: you need to play to get the specials which is what Bioware wants you to do.
