I've been thinking, and also looking over
the DLC\\'s for the Dragon Age games, and i got some ideas that i hope
give gamers that own either or both of the games, more enjoyment. why
not look into creating a DLC that could allow at a becoming not only
what the game already has, but to be able to have the ability to change
into and from a form of a Werewolf? Though I'm sure my idea could be
more affective for use in Dragon Age 2.  I'd love it if you could give me ideas that could help with this, i've been informed that if this gets legite, it has a possibility to be made.

Relating to this topic (this is a post made in another thread):

One of the things that bugged me in DAO was that the Warden could cure the werewolves and they would be totally fine afterwards despite the fact that they spent most of their lives as animals. My idea for DA3 would be a former werewolf companion who retains traces of his bestial nature; he acts as a berserker in combat and has trouble fitting into civilized society. As a joke, his name would be Dane, but he would not recall if he was the Dane of legend because he spent so many years as a wild animal.

The thing is, I don't think it's possible in this setting to play a werewolf because they're just mad beasts. But I'd settle for a specialization that would let you channel the rage of a werewolf and take on aspects of their form. Dane could teach you.

in DAO, you could also just get the help of the werewolves instead of the elves, but yea i see your point, but werewolves arn't entirtely mad beast, so long as they have the Lady of the Forest, they should be able to manage, i'm Brainstorming for a possible new Downloadable content, invovling it's own story and what not

The Lady of the Forest eventually turns into a mad beast herself, as do the other werewolves. All she really did was plug up a crack on a dam that was ready to burst.

But I digress. Well, I did have an idea once for a story where a former werewolf is connected to a rash of sudden, incredibly violent murders. The former werewolf in question is a childhood friend of Hawke who went missing years ago (because he or she was actually infected by Swiftrunner). Hawke then takes up the friend's case and tracks down the actual werewolf responsible for the crime, which turns out to be the very first werewolf (and thus bigger, larger and more ferocious than other werewolves). By killing the creature, Hawke could (if s/he chose) eat his heart and gain the creature's unique ability to shift between wolf and human form.

You mean like Skyrim and the Companions Quest? One more example of catch-up.

something along those lines, but seriously, i've been looking over both games of DA and i'm thinking that we should get the chance to either gain an ability to go into and out of werewolf form or at least gain one as a campanion

hmm .... yea that could be a great thing to add, but not just those 3 things u can become, i think u should also gain an ability to co-side with shapeshafting to be able to like either scan or just gain the form of what u killed monsters and darkspawn alike, and that other ability that'll allow you to be able to gain a more powerful version of that form

This is why I want DLC specialization packs, there could be a pack themed on demonology or such and warriors could get a werewolf spec.

I think something like that would be better covered in an expansion. But the general idea is good, rouges should get a blood-based specialization like Reaver or Blood Mage in the OC though.

yes yes something like that could be useful for an expansion, or maybe be added to the DA3 that's being worked on, the werewolf party member who'll voice it, don't know him but ok i guess, and ... a Darkspawn party member ........... hmm........ lets talk this bit over some more

It's OK, I never got around to flushing out my idea either.

I think any hope for another DA2 DLC, werewolf-themed or not, is officially dead now.

one of the things I keep contemplating is of the limited abilities of being the mage class from the DA games, like when it came to the arcane warrior specialization, it got me thinking why didn't they consider adding in actual combat skills like dual-wielding or weapon and shield if you preferred having a mage that not only made use of his/ her magic but also join the front lines wielding a weapon, in my opinion that was a set back when setting up the mage class. also on an unrelated note, why only limit lockpicking to only the rouges when you could have it set as a skill for wanting to open locks, I can understand it for when it involves traps but still

They actually had planned to do an expansion pack type of dlc much like they did with Origins but then scrapped it to concentrate on DA Inquisition.  I'm thinking some of it might have also been because there were some issues with some of the other dlc's that they weren't able to fix, especially on the PS3 versions.

DA Inquisition made it to #1 of fav games, which is rarer then anything for me cuz I never pick favs, I read the customization stuff for it so far but it doesn't answer the one hope I want most in it, ........ to be able to have a mage that can wield a sword
