So it goes from Shepard is wounded by marauder => Shepard is wounded it's a miracle and must have a psychological explanation and be proof that it's all a dream?   

Why are most so called Proofs in the IT explained using extremely complicated explanations and concepts (for no reason) when there are simple explanations?

It's not a mystery or a secret that the Marauder in front of the beam shot shepard, he always does that, it can't be avoided. And then after a while that gun wound becommes a miraculous proof that shepard is dreaming or something... Seriously?

Some people here called it the most convincing piece of proof in the IT and I find it farfetched.... The theoretical approach behind the theory seems to be to look for proof that you might get a replay of the entire end of the game with a real ending.
To this end you come up with incredibly complex explanations to make it all a dream and twist things til it makes no sense.
You are looking for an explanation that feels good and serves your goal instead of looking at what's the most reasonable explanation and if it's reasonable to interpret that much value into a piece of proof that defies further examination.

I don't like the current ending and changing it and improving it to the level of excellence we had on Tuchanka would have been lovely but I don't want to get into selfdelusions that tells me I will get it, when the theory representing it looks like something written by a UFO conspiracy theorist. I'm trying my best to use civil words here.
Sometimes I wonder, do you people really belive in this stuff or are you just hoping BW will fix the ending?

To me it looks like the product of similar creative works as those found below... All I ever get is insults or comments that it can't be compared to religion. Though noone has ever told me "why not?"

You're thinking of the wrong gunshot wound.  The marauder shot him in the shoulder, but the wound that the camera focuses on is Shepard's wound on his left abdomen.  That's where Shepard shot Anderson.  Shepard was never shot on his left abdomen.  I believe it's supposed to represent Shepard succombing to the Reaper's indoctrination.

Anyways, the one piece of evidence that makes me still have strong hope for IT is the piece that Ownaholic mentions in his original video at about the 59 minute mark.  The fact that theres a file called "Dream foliage" and the foliage in it is from the planet where the Normandy crashes.  Can anyone provide a link to that piece of evidence?  That right there just made me pause the video and say "HOLY ****!"  I need to know where that piece of evidence came from.

None of my .bik files from the PC version has that file name... The only dream files or references  Ican find are those related to the dreams shepard is having about the kid with people from shepards past and present talking in the background..

I think it's a little unclear where Marauder **** shepard also Marauder fires more than one shot I think.
You can also see how shepard is applying pressure to his abdomen when trying to get up after getting beamed to the citadel.
If shepard got hit in the shoulder I would think he/she would be more concerned about not exerting the shoulder than trying to hold his/her guts inside while trying to stand up..
The view of shepards abdomal wound and bleeding is just another way for Bioware to demonstrate shepards heroic resolve, no matter what shepard keeps going. I just sadens me that shepard gave up so badly when facing off with the catalyst... Though standing up might have been heroic enough if should be dead already. Still I didn't like it.

To be honest I think the whole gunshot wound thing isn't the strongest evidence for IT, but it does leave us with questions.  Why did Shepard have that wound?  Why did the camera focus on it (especially since he has many other wounds from the reaper shot)?  I believe the IT interpretation of the wound has at least some plausability.

Yeah, I'm still looking for the source of the "Dream Foliage" file mentioned in Ownaholic's video.  It such damning proof I think he should have provided the source for that.  It makes for some pretty damning evidence of IT.

The reaper burns were superficial burns compared to a wound that caused severe bleeding.

Also burns coagulate, while the marauder slugs will lead to shepard bleeding to death unless the bleedings stop.

Well, there was a snag unfortunately. I had to re-render the video to fix a problem, and restart the upload process all over again. It should be up and ready for everyone to view it in about 13-15 hours from the time of this post. It all depends on how fast YouTube can upload now.
