Eeek! Just realized you answered my question in your radio interview, and you even addressed the tree reflection photos/video I linked for you on YouTube/Twitter. Thank you! It kind of tied into what we'd get to see in Part 2, so I'm very excited to see that today.

Even if this is shut down in the EC, tis will be one of the greatest fan theories in history. One that even eclipses the vanilla endings (sadly )

Hope it's true in the EC, but if not, great job documenting this interesting gaming event

I'm watching the docu right now, but I'm wondering: have you seen the theory about infrasound present at certain parts of the game yet? It's very curious, someone on the IT thread there made a video about it, I'll see if i can find it.

My god this is painful to watch, I like to watch all of the I.T. content so I know what's being claimed, but this is just painful, it's like the textbook definition of begging the question.

That said, your production values are high for a youtube video, it's just a shame about the content.

Well, thankfully we know there is no I.T. in the E.C. so at least we all know that this is nonsense... finally.

I don't think IT is true, but that video made me want IT to be true, just because it's so nice and rational, makes sense mostly and is a fun little idea.

I hope the EC pulls something epic out the bag, otherwise I'm done.

This.  First documentary was better.  After watching the first 2 pro points I feel the author does not try hard enough to apply real criticism to the theory.

I mean seriously.  Who argues that cinematic liberties taken with a kid are evidence of IT when you're talking about a story that includes a space ninja.

I respect your opinion, I agree it's well made and a fine headcannon (AKA fanfic) ... but rational is_not_ a word I'd use: Manuipulative, half-truths, falsehoods, sin-by-omission, begging the question are all words I'd use.

I mean rational in a story sense. It makes a lot of sense within the loic of the universe, you can rationalize everything and not get too stressed by inconsistencies. I mean, dreams are allowed to have lots of crazy stuff going on, so thats good for the endings to be covered by.

Hmm, I'd argue that even then it seriously breaks the narrative flow of the story (Even more that it is already broken). But as I said, it you like it, more power to you.

Pretty big problem around 33:00. If your EMS is low enough to kill off two squadmates, then you do not see anyone get off the Normandy at the end.  Video implies that you see dead squadmates at the end.  You do not.

the destroy "shepard lives" impossibility is a pretty strong point as well as joker's state of health leaving the normandy crash.

i can't really see a counter argument for these.

The video was a treat to watch. Thank you for all the hard work you put into it! I would love for IT to be true, but the world doesn't work that way. Its simply too good to be true sadly.

I said the same thing in youtube comments and someone said theres a middle ground where you can see squaddies die and also see them come out of the ship. No idea if true or not, but in the grand scheme of things I'll let it slide.

I've argued that the destroy energy is different from a typical explosion. We shouldn't assume it carries the same physics a normal explosion would. For one thing the soldiers on earth can either be incinerated or completely unaffected by it.

On joker, well we don't see the crash so who knows how the ship went from space to upright and neatly landed on a planet. Maybe it was a decent landing

Was a pleasure to watch, but I think i've reached my limit in regards to video length .

Isn't these type of videos just a way to set up disappointment? Or, if the IT is not directly disproved by the EC, a way to keep hope up and deal with something by imagining that what we saw happen did in fact not happen?

Does anyone really think they would release an unfinished game like that? Without a finale after the "indoctrination-dream-trail"? Nope.
