Forgive the use of language. But Anti-ITists get to me when they act like dicks on a regular basis.

Right now I see an ITer acting like a dick

You came in here solely to make fun of his last video. And I'm defending him, so I'm the dick? Sure. Love your logic. Bye bye

This^^^ If not interested in the IT get out and go to a thread where people are descussing something you do care about.

Yup, Most IT haters I've seen just don't add to the proceedings, just b**** and moan while we got people actually being creative and trying to see what Bioware had done.  I just don't understand trolls.

I think a doc covering the whole ending fallout would be cool after EC comes out.

Might need more than 1 part though.

This would be kind of neat. Chronicling the entire fallout and reaction to the endings, and then the EC how it (hopefully) tied everything together wonderfully.

Hey everybody,

I just have a quick question for all of you fans out there: How about a follow up video?
After the release of the video and the incredible feedback I've been receiving from everybody, I was thinking about doing a possible "part 2" or follow up to the video, now that I've learned a lot more from all of you.

There are some new pieces of evidence, some old, and some things I just blatantly left out because I wasn't sure about them. I'll be fair in my warning here: A lot of this will end up looking like it's "grasping at straws" even more than usual. But some of them are definitely interesting to discuss.

I've had a lot of people ask me "why didn't you include x", x being about 50 different things. So I figured, fine, why not include them if everybody wants an analysis of them?

But I don't want to go slaving away on another video without everybody's input first. This one would NOT be an hour and 20 minutes. It would likely be closer to, or even under, 20-30 minutes. But you never know, I could get carried away again...

My biggest worry is that people are going to watch THAT video instead, thinking that is what everybody has been talking about, and be all "wtf is this nonsense".

Your input? =]

Things I think could do with being covered (I can provide files if it helps):

-The music from the dreams - played only during the dreams, when you get hit by harbinger's beam and at the final "choice" sequence.

-The laughter heard around the ship before the cerberus mission.

-The reaper noises during the dreams (with the file name "reaper_noises" :P)

-the other bioware games that used the theme, elder brain in neverwinter nights or some such thing. Get in the big topic on here and get video of that gameplay to compare with.

Ownaholic, this is fantastic news. I absolutely loved the video and it's one of my favorites on ME3. It was both well edited and well worth the time for any who aren't quite ready to let go yet. Thanks for the service you're giving to the rest of us. Here's to you having a successful interview later today. Take care and post that link as soon as you can!

Of course it makes a huge deal of it. It's there to indicate Shepard's dying.:crying:

Right where Shepard shot Anderson. ;)

It makes a huge deal that Shep's dying then has them sprinting a few minutes later. That was one invigorating elevator ride, very unusual for this franchise.

To indicate Shepard's dying? Yet if you pick Destroy with the right circumstances he/she lives?

Which goes on to strengthen the argument of the IT, which claims the wound was to Shepard's mind, not body. So therefore, upon choosing either Synthesis or Destroy, Shepard's mind is completely one with the Reaper's or relieved of their presence in his mind (in case of Destroy).

Issac, if you would like to hear my comments on some of the complaints about the first video, then you should consider listening to my radio interview that's happening in about 20 minutes, and will be published later this week. (I'll post a link). The interviewer picked 10 questions from the fans for me to answer, and some of your concerns could be addressed.

As for the video itself, it would be moving forward rather than looking back. I am not going to outright contradict myself in another video. I stand by the artistic integrity of the first video. (See what I did there?)

To everybody else, sure a list would be cool to have as a reference, just in case there's anything on it that I've missed. I'd likely make this one "less epic" as the direct result of it not being as long or holding as strong evidence.

Does 'less epic' mean no more 1080p? I like my crystal clear screen getting naked for me. :D

I mean...

The screen will be as naked as usual, no worries! It will probably have the same intro and outro and style of presentation, as well.

OP no one has mentioned this in the indoc vids. Saren and the illusive man have blue eyes NOT because they were indoctrinated but because they were dealing with an artifact in the mass effect evolution comics, it is not known whether this artifact has reaper origi no one has covered this and I was reallly hoping that there would be someone who reads the books or comics

Please, do make another. I really don't have any extra input for what to add because I'm sure I couldn't tell you anything new. Maybe just fix the thing about the Crucible docking with the citadel tower (it docks on the "bottom" of the citadel).

Just don't bother responding to Issac, all he wants is to derail. In the last thread I don't think I ever saw him respond to any counter arguments that couldn't be answered with "Bioware was just being lazy". And then of course spamming, "Oh my god you think X? lol XD." Just trying to incite. Ignore him.

Well, to be fair, Shepard's still covering the wound with his hand on that scene, clinging to life as it were. When it becomes evident (to him, at least) that he'll probably die no matter what, he simply devotes his remaining strength to the task at hand. It's not as if we haven't seen countless action heroes near death in one scene and then kicking the living s*** out of their enemies in the next one.

I think the original video was well assembled. While I didn't agree with EVERY point you made, most were supported with a least a good amount of evidence. And at the very least, it was a good thinking exercise.

A follow up video would be welcomed, I believe. Though you would have to reference the first one to make new/additional conclusions have meaning in the follow up video.

I think that as long as you specify that it's a follow-up video, and direct people to the original one, that confusion shouldn't happen (unless they're just really dense).

I think it's a wonderful idea, myself. Nothing is more compelling than an analysis from a neutral party, and there are some really, really compelling points that have surfaced even since you published the documentary. So, by all means, have at it. I'll look forward to it!

Ownaholic, I would absolutely love it if you made a part 2. I thoroughly enjoyed part 1 and thought your analysis, while clearly pro-Indoctrination theory, was more than fair.

I would suggest though that you be careful with flinging around the term, "Documentary". You put a lot of your personal opinion into your piece, which isn't a bad thing, but documentaries typically attempt to show factual knowledge to achieve audience support for an opinion. Your video too often states, "that's just my opinion", which strays away from the ideals of a documentary.

Perhaps creating better grading parameters, and attempting to leave your opinion out as much as you can is the way to go w/ Part 2.

...or, just drop the word "Documentary" from the title of the video.

Please fix the 'synthetics are not alive, even though everything you learn about them says otherwise' mistake.
As an IT fan i find this annoying. Clearly using opinion based on outside Sci-fi material and not ME universe.

The reapers say destroy will kill synthetics because they are lieing and using your fondness of geth and EDI against you.

OP LISTEN TO MY PLEA, SAREN AND THE ILLUSIVE MAN DO NOT HAVE BLUE EYES BECAUSE THEY SUFFERED INDOCTRINATION, THEY DEALT WITH AN ARTIFACT DURING THE FIRST CONTACT WAR THAT WAS DETAILED IN THE MASS EFFECT EVOLUTION COMICS.

I don't think you have read the comics, it is a sort of coincidence
Although the artifact could be considered capable of indoctrination
The illusive man has those eyes ever since the first contact war, surely the reapers could not
Have indoctrinated him back then.

Doesn't really matter where they got them, it's still the result of reaper meddling.

It's not a part of the game.  If we go into the books and comics then we've got people eating other people's cereal, stabbbing people with toothbrush-shivs... let's just not go there.
