Hey Guys, Just played ME2 DLC The Arival - during the scene where you find the reaper artifact and the bad guys are trying to knock you out, if you survive long enough for the Advanced mechs to come out Harbinger says:

"Struggle if you wish Shepard, Your mind will be mine!"

Then you wake up 2 days or whatever later, who knows what they did to his mind then, supports the indoctrination theory. I also remember the press b4 this was released they were saying this DLC was to kick start ME3. wonder if that line has more meaning than we realize :)

Don't see how, I mean it is officially supposed to be the lead into ME3, although not required.

I feel that it is considered canon, just because of the fact that it plays a very large role in the reason for Shepard's growing psychological problems throughout the game.

But again, it's subjective to each person, so we can't generalize everybody else's opinion out.

Could you impliment this song in any way?

I don't know. It's just so random.

I'd love you forever.

Also would like to add I watched the first doc twice, it was so good.

Even if it wasn't Morgan Freeman.

Dude, amazing documentary. Videos like these will go down in history literally. As the ones that opened up our eyes. I really hope a Bioware person see's your video and realizes what to do with it. Or atleast come out and say that's what they planned on doing all along

I was going to put it in somewhere, but then I noticed he's a Rams fan.

Prettz made a video of some strange sounds at the end of the game...

Ringing

I couldn't help notice the ringing reminded me of Object Rho...

Rho

And
then balance5050 pointed out that for a split second, barely
noticeable, there's flashes of a white circle during the object rho
scene...

http://desmond.image...jpg&res=medium
Not nearly as prevalent as when Shepard is dreaming, in the corrupted consensus, or at the ending...
I never would have noticed it...

Also, in Arrival recurring nightmares are a symptom of indoctrination, and if you fail Arrival you get EXACTLY what is described in the audio logs...

Arrival Fail

If it hasn't been pointed out, you are standing on a giant dialogue wheel at the end, and the crucible is activated metaphorically...

Destroy - Blow Something Up
Control - Quadrilaterally Symmetrical Switches and wild uncontrolled electricity
Synthesis - Jump into the point where the Crucible and Citadel have merged

This metaphorical interface makes no sense in the real world...

Also, if you could intersperse these Harbinger quotes, it would be loverly...

We will bring your species into Harmony with our own
Struggle if you wish, your mind will be mine
We are your genetic destiny
Evolution cannot be stopped
Embrace Perfection

I've known about all of that, except for the white transition light being present in Object Rho, as well. That is definitely something I will be including.

As for the rest, I really don't buy any of it as significant, or even true. (With the exception of Harbinger's quotes, but that should already be known by the masses).

Well, strictly speaking Mass Effect has no 'canon' except for the stuff in the books/comics - there is only 'what you did in your playthrough'. The deal with Arrival is that if you didn't do the mission, Hackett sent the 103rd Marine Division instead, and they succeeded but all died (so basically ME3's reward for doing Arrival, besides some changed dialogue, is the 103rd MD War Asset). So it is entirely possible for Shepard to reach the end of Mass Effect 3 having never even been in the same star system as Object Rho. The IT, if it is true or made canon in the EC, would have to fit with any possible playthrough of the trilogy, so Object Rho can't be considered integral to it. Bit of a shame, really. :(

You know, it's funny you should mention the books/comics because in the ME3 prequel comic Conviction that introduces James Vega (rather poorly) there's a news feed that describes Shep's involvement in blowing up the Alpha relay. Hmmm.........

Specifically just the dialogue wheel metaphor one. I really really don't think they were trying to reference the dialogue wheel, I just think they were trying to reference the Paragon / Renegade / Neutral statuses, which happen to be present on the dialogue wheels. I see how it makes sense, and I see how it can even be looked at to be a plausible idea considering the shape of the room, but I just for some reason can't come to terms with the idea that this was a planned or intended thing; for it to be looked at as a metaphorical dialogue wheel. =].

Everything else I believe, but I just don't think it ties it strongly enough.

Well now, I actually did forget about that one. Rather odd - I bet it was made at a point in development when they really were going to make Arrival (and maybe LotSB) completely canon in all playthroughs,

Yeah, which only adds to the confusion because most people have not seen that comic. Plus, it's another plot hole that Bioware neglected to properly fill. To sum it up, "details matter." :P

I watched the video and looked through the scenes and what I saw was a little odd. The first was of Shepards helmet or head in helmet on a spear/pole with destruction behind it. Next was what I believe was Harbinger attacking the citadel, but he was on the inside of the ring which makes no sense. How would he get in? The next was all of our friends and the Illusive man standing on a outlook over what looked like an asari city, then Harbinger or a reaper decends infront of them. And in between all of the scenes was harbinger.

Also if you let the timer go out wouldn't it just be an explosion when you collide with the relay? Not a vision?

Am I the only one here who remembered that the Normandy has a piece of Reaper tech constantly on board in the form of the IFF? Just saying. :P

Just want to update you guys:

Almost finished with the script, then will probably knock out the recordings in one sitting, then time for more editing. -_-.

Also found all the music we're using this time.

The first part was amazing, and really restored my faith in ME3.
I'd love a part 2.

Could you make a quick list of all the new evidence part 2 will be covering, and we'll see if we can add to it?
