True, but Saren had the same (albeit lower resolution) eyes, and Shepard suddenly develops the same eyes in the control and synthesis endings. So obviously it indicates something. Perhaps it's an indication of reaper tech, instead of indoctrination. That would account for EDI's eye pattern (which aren't quite the same - they aren't glowing like TIM's).Kaelef wrote...
It'd be kind of a give-away if all you had to do was look at someone's eyes to tell they're indoctrinated, don't you think?

well the illusive man had them, and he was indoctrinated, saren had them, and he was indoctrined, shepard has them if you choose blue or green (assuming the IT is true) then he was indoctrinated also. Those were the only people who had that pattern in their eyes before i noticed thisKaelef wrote...

Indoctrination doesn't do anything to you physically, it just corrupts your mind. The eyes that Saren, TIM, and EDI all have are synthetic/implants, same goes for the rest of the cerberus fellas that you fight.
When you burn her skin off her eyes have that pattern.JyrikGauldy wrote...
I just find it strange that she only has these eyes during this scene, i couldnt see it during the rest of the game, and dr. eva core's eyes look perfectly normal.
but how did saren have them?Lyrebon wrote...
They're not indoctrinated eyes. They're synthetic implants that the Illusive Man and Dr. Eva shared because, *gasp*, they used the same supplier that manufactured those eyes (ie. Cerberus).
They're not the same. They just look very similar if you don't look closely.JyrikGauldy wrote...

Everything after the Prothean Beam on Eden Prime in ME1 was a hallucination. That Prothean beam was indoctrinated. At the end of ME3 Shepard wakes up on Eden Prime. True storyHYR 2.0 wrote...
