That would make Saren not indoctrinated:

And pretty much everyone else in the game with the exception of TIM and EDI would be not indoctrinated.
The fact that TIM and EDI have similar eye patterns may be because they were likely both created by Cerberus.

That's interesting. I would've expected them to look like Saren's, then, but they're pretty different.

They're not indoctrinated eyes. They're synthetic implants that the Illusive Man and Dr. Eva shared because, *gasp*, they used the same supplier that manufactured those eyes (ie. Cerberus).

Here they are at the very end (during the final battle in the Citadel).

Looks like a more glowy version of the earlier snapshot. Still different from TIM and EDI.
For comparison's sake, here are Bette Davis' eyes...

That probably went over collective heads.
By the way. I keep reading about TIM's eyes indicating a sign of indoctrination. Hasn't he always had these eyes? He wasn't "indoctrinated" until ME3 supposedly so....Is there some sort of supplementary reading that gives us the reason for his eyes?

He's had them since before we first meet him in ME2. I assume the "Turian implant" bit comes from one of the books, as I don't remember seeing it anywhere in-game or in the comics.

I noticed this last night while finishing a second runthrough. I went back on youtube later and looked at her eyes during different conversations, but i cant really tell if she had them or not, i could only notice this during the squadmate goodbyes. Am i missing something, what do you guys think?
EDIT: when i say "indoctrinated eyes" i mean the eyes the illusive man has, a person who is indoctrination, and the eyes of shepard when he choses Synthesis or Control.
It's because the eyes are tech. Just like TIM's, just like Shepard's (under the surface). It's not indoctrination. Look at a close-up of saren's eyes - not the same pattern at all.

1. Why?
2. How do they translate into Turian eyes? Or is it Turian tech? Or implanted by a Turian?
3. I'm scared.

Seriously though, no such thing as indoc eyes. That blueness is indicative of reaper tech, and maybe Eva was based off of Reaper tech like EDI.

The eyes for EDI is merely because EVA(Or EVE?) was used by Reaper-Tech as well. If she's under the direct influence of it, is anyones guess however.

God really? I was told they turned that way after he grabbed a reaper device that was turning someone into a husk or something.
So I assumed that the wierd scion eyes were indicative of someone having been molested by reaper tech.
But now i'm seeing Turian implants and i'm confused.

To be fair, they do suggest it's part of the physical reaper conversion to husk form in Mass Effect Evolution. It's just that it's dumb because it doesn't make sense and all the other evidence in the actual games contradicts this, so I'd say that bit was an "oopsie" by the artist.jijeebo wrote...

He lost his eyes due to the Reaper device, but his replacement eyes were actually from the Turians iirc. The eyes being Reaper tech is just a fan assumption-confusion.jijeebo wrote...

It's similar to the idea that Shepard (or Edi's EVA-body) has any Reaper tech inside it: it's a popular fanon idea in some circles, but one never brought up in the game.
