*Though I wasn't very happy to hear/see the Quarian classes are the exact same classes as we already have. With them we have 4 Quarians and only 2 classes between them, not particularly creative there.
What else could they be?
They can't use biotics so that rules out Adept, Vanguard and Sentinel. They also need to wear those suits and they aren'y very resilient so it kinda rules them out of being a soldier too because soldiers are meant to be tough guys that can take more hits than the other classes.
That only leaves Engineer and Infiltrator. If they are male quarians (with different power sets I hope) then it's all good with me.

That manages to make less sense. It'd be like having a Cannibal or Marauder character.frozngecko wrote...

people wanted male quarians.. we got male quarians now.. and you're now complaining? PLEASEEE...
Well, it's more the fact the current two Quarians are Engineer and Infiltrator... and the supposed Male ones are Engineer's and Infiltrators. If they don't have drastically different abilities then they may as well just have an Appearance toggle XD
You mean like human males/females... oh wait.

Krogan Sentinels use Lift Grenades and Incinerate.Asebstos wrote...
Does anyone else find the idea of a Vorcha Sentinel a little bit much?
Soldier, I don't mind. But Sentinel? Vorcha don't seem like they'd be capable of handling advanced tech beyond grenades/guns or mastering biotics.
The Vorcha could use Cluster Grenades and with some (unique?) fire based power, they would have both Tech and Biotics covered.

Exactly. It's less sense (in story) if it's Collectors, but then saying that I won't be upset if either/both show up since I'm not a loremaster.

You know how many people would be running around as maruader sheilds if they put that in the dlc?

Kal'Reegar and his marine squad are an infiltration special ops squad, not line soldiers. He says himself that Quarians can't and don't fight in meat grinders or conventional warfare, because every minor wound is potentially life threatening. Their Soldiers are likely closer to Engineers/Infiltrator classes, utilising clever tech to even the odds, and not the straight up combat-specialist Solider classes such as the Krogan or Turian.

Sigh. Sad how it took this long to tell us.
"this long"? Within an hour? To be honest, I was out at a buisness lunch and told you within 5 minutes of spotting it when I got back. Still, at least you know now.
I think if there's one lesson to take away from this forum it's that some people just have entirely unreasonable expectations
That said, here's my prediction:
Soon - new multiplayer DLC, thessia etc.
~3-4 weeks - another new multiplayer DLC.
~7-8 weeks - another new multiplayer DLC gets announced, "taking the fight to earth"
~10 weeks - earth multiplayer DLC launches, coinciding with "surprise" release of Extended Cut.
Right ballpark?

Yeah... We already seen the usefulness of having rhetorically male female humans with the exact same power... Its sad if the same is with the quarians because its an opportunity to give the race a jolt in the arm with the update
I'd like defence drone or tech armor really with maybe a new unique ability like we got with batarians/geth/justicar.

I hope there will be new gamemodes. Those 11 Waves r getting boring
Seconded, I'm over lvl 1500 in MP and can't convince myself to play another match even though I really like this game. I'd love to see new enemies or a different game mode, but then again I don't write BW's checks so I take what they give me.

Quarians can be Biotics, but they are kinda rare so Adept/Vanguard make the least amount of sense.Luke Pearce wrote...

But Sentinel doesn't need biotic poers(see Krogan sentinel) and there definedly are Quarian soldiers so both of those would have been logical options for a new Quarian character.

I'm very hopeful that these new male Quarian characters have a DIFFERENT powers-set than their female counterparts, however, not simply like the human sexes.
Engineer: Cryo Blast, Defense Matrix, Drone
Infiltrator: Inferno-nades, Energy Drain, Cloak

Is there even a trailer today? I doubt there will be one tomorrow. Can we all bug the devs with PMs asking, "Are we there yet?" for hours on end to get more closure on the situation?
