I think you posted that just to make people who like Tali mad, yes? I belive it is called trolling or something like that.
Never mind, I am going to fix my sense of humour, because I am obviously missing something here. Image IPB

No, it's actually called counter-trolling, go back to pages 15/16 and 17 of this same thread and see your fellow Talimancers acting like a bunch of angry kids.

With that said, and to be honest, the I find the starving Vorcha image hilarious to no end. Hope the poor fella didn't get sick.

Nooo...that was us having fun and not taking the thread seriously.  In case you didn't notice, they weren't getting angry or deliberately trying to get under someone's skin.  Tempers weren't flaring from anyone.  (Actually, all but one of the hate pics came from the anti-Tali crowd.  Tells you something I think.).  But if you took all that seriously, shame on you.

You however, were trolling and didn't even have the decency to admit it (at first anyway).  And that's why nothing you say can be taken seriously anymore.  You're just hating.

Apparently you and me are talking about two different threads...

No.  You're just imagining things to play the victim and justify your hate/trolling.  B)

Oh, I'm sorry.  Not hate.  "frustration!"

No I have not.

But I have not really been in their threads to say otherwise.

Huh, must have confused your profile name with someone elses then. Sorry:(

Not annoyed , amused, very amused. But let's go back to the OT, the EC should develop more the ME2 cast instead of the characters that got excessive facetime (mainly Tali).

^^ See, that alone shows your true motive.  If you were just talking about excessive facetime, you would have mentioned Liara because she gets more than anyone.  Heck, even Garrus gets more time than Tali (and he was in ME2 as well).  Tali doesn't even get a "Citadel date".  So you whining about facetime is just a cover for you to hate on a fictional character.

Don't sweat it.

To the OP:

It might be amusing to you but hurtful to others. Just because somebody annoys you does not mean you should annoy them back.

Stop trying to create drama and get back on topic. I will not fall into your game of trying to derail the thread. This is my last reply to you.

Hurtful? no, I just want to see other characters developed, that's all. ME is my favorite Sci-Fi franchise ever, so I want to see the rest of the universe expanded and less Tali.

I think I'm among the few who loves all squad members (ME1, ME2 & ME3) equally. I'm not tired of Tali, but yes I miss moar Jack & Miranda & Grunt! wish you could choose who to recruit out of all of them, but meh... budget and all that.

AFAIK, budget wasn't the main reason behind the reduced cast, I remember seeing on interviews (before the release) the devs commenting on creating a much more reduced cast in order to increase the amount of interactions with Shepard to create a stronger bond with the player.

Hmmm... I kinda suspect that the devs looked at ME2 and the disgruntled fans who, back then, thought Liara had way too little screentime, (a problem Bioware later tried to solve by releasing LotSB), and decided to give her a bigger arc in ME3 to avoid having upset Liara fans.
Sadly, they apparentely forgot Miranda, Jack, Thane, Grunt etc. etc.:?

Well, I can tell you a quite a few people will find some of the images earlier in the thread to be quite hurtful. If you want to see less Tali, don't recruit her. You have the choice, so go make it.

You want other characters developed as do I and most people here but asking for less of an existing character is kind of selfish. Tali got her time because a significant part of the fanbase wanted her to be there. The other characters not so much.

Give Bioware the idea for a DLC or something. That's how Tali got her attention wasn't it?

It's not a matter of recruiting her or not, it's a matter of spending development resources on an overused character casting aside less developed (and, in my opinion, way more interesting) characters.

As for your second opinion, yep, I do that.

It's a sad truth but the needs of the many over the needs of the few.

Bioware would have put more effort into other characters if they had the time. No reason not to.

I just think that the thread title should have been more along the lines as, [insert character here] should have gotten more character development. That way you don't attract the attention of people who disagree with you, (not that there would be any for this cause) and people would focus more on the topic than trying to argue with you.

Anyway, I wonder why they changed Jack´s appereance if she wasn´t mean to be squad mate, because they are not that type going through all that "trouble" just for few mins we see her.

Tali's "popularity" is over-exaggerated by her fans, I don't see it outside a niche sector of BSN. But for the sake of argument, let's suppose it's true, that still doesn't mean that everyone else must be ignored and Tali should be constantly shoved onto our faces we like it or not. Tali already had a lot of time, three games, that's a lot, her fans should be happy with all the content they got, same as Garrus and to a lesser extent Liara, now is time for others to have some content. Otherwise it'd be egoistical.

I can't say I see the same. All of my friends are Talimancers, so yeah... Hell, I didn't even know Tali had a thread till 2 months before ME3.

People like Tali, she is popular and Bioware just addressed it.

Not just others but everyone should get content for their favorite characters. Does not mean we should take away what we have already. That's the point.

When you say that this character should have less time, you offend people. That's why people come here to argue with you.

The goal is to please as many people as possible. Whether Bioware did that or not is upto personal interpretation.

I and many others don't, we're part of the people too.

There's a difference between ideally and realistically. Making content for every character is ideal but not realistic. So, since there's a character that was already overused, it's time to give other characters more resources and face time, dialog in future DLCs, books, movies, etc. If her fans get offended over that, then they're being extremely childish and egoistic, they should feel happy for all the content they got already.

We should strive for something ideal.

Sometime ago people thought it was ideal to build machines that can fly but people said they should be realistic and do something worthwhile with their time.

You set a goal and you aim to hit it.

I am not sure where you're getting the whole, Tali fans are upset about other characters getting more time than they have now.

From what I understand, you're now kind of displeased with Tali fans asking for more time in general and you feel that other characters should get more time than her.

I don't see anything wrong with the Tali fans. It has the same logic in general. Not satisfied with existing time, and want more time.

All you have to do (which I think you said you are) is to tell Bioware what you want and hope Bioware addresses it.

To be fair, Tali and Garrus got much more screentime in the three games when compared to most other characters such as Miranda, Jack, Wrex, Thane, Samara etc. etc.

I can understand their fans´ frustration over how their characters were handled in ME3, but please; those fans were much much more lucky than the fans of the ME2 characters.

I agree, they were lucky.

However, that does not give anyone the right to take away other peoples interests. They should tell Bioware they want more dev time with the ME2 characters.

Tali and Garrus got more time.

I want to see more of the other characters such as Kasumi and Zaeed have more significant roles. But that doesn't mean I can tell Liara fans to stop asking for more Liara time.

Do you see where I'm getting at here?

im on the fence about vega, i thought his voice actor did the part really well, i just dont think it was a great idea to include a brand new character out of nowhere in the beginning of the final installment.
