I find Jack instresting because of her past connections with cerby, but I find her to be annoying, I agree Tali can be somewhat Boring, but I must say I like the mystery that embraces Tali, we never get to see whats behind the mask, I don't count that photoshop image to be her because it was just a lazy rip off.

but to be honnest where would Jack fit in you're crew in me3?

It's obvious BioWare seriously considered to make her a full time squad member in ME3, yet, for some "mysterious" reason, that didn't happen. Then I remembered how one of the writers (Weekes I think) said during PAX that at first Tali wasn't even supposed to be a full squad member in ME3, and I started to wonder if they ditched Jack in order to save/create the resources and assets to include Tali (yet again). 


It's time to let Tali go and let other characters have some development, to be honest I'm bored of Tali, not only I find her dull, but she's also already been included in three games and, worst yet, I'm convinced Jack was sacrificed in order to include Tali in ME3. 

At least I'm hoping that during the EC they do justice for Jack (and the ME2 squad).

Remember that ME2 Squad mates could have died, and not make it into ME3, that's why the Devs. thought it was a waste of time and resource to invest in a character that could've died. All ME2 characters are optional in ME3 (Garru, Tali*) and the rest have cameos just for that.

That's why you get Liara, EDI, ASH/KAI, DLC-Javik and Vega. Because if you were a (CENSORED) and suicided everyone on ME2, players don't complain, "why i am alone on ME3". Ohh wait, forgot to mentions that this is the reason why Jack is not companion.

• Tali? Huge fan base, also for the Quarian/Geth dilemma(sorry Legion)
• Garru? hell yeahh why not? we need Calibrations!

They deserve time and resource investment, even if they weren't alive in ME3.

Yeah. Jack's redesign wasn't so she could be a squadmate, it was so that she would be a little more relatable than a bald, topless woman who does terrible things. Her old look wouldn't make sense with where she was in her arc.

The only problem with that is the possibility that somebody would play the game exclusively with Liara, AK and EDI, due to killing the whole ME2 squad.

The Citadel Coup is a mission.  It serves no more and no less purpose than the Horizon or Collector Ship missions in ME2.

I loved Tali in ME1 but her character, to me, has gone downhill. I either hated her in 2 and just didn't care for her in 3 or it's the other way around but, yeah, she's definitely not my favorite. I liked all the squadmates in 3 except for Kaidan and Tali.

On a less personal note... 

Lots of people do like Tali - and I'm not just saying that because I'm one of them. I see where you're going with your comparison with Jack though. The most Bioware did with Tali is the lazy stock photo bit for LIs. Blame whatever you want for that one, since Bioware's answer is that they felt this was appropriate (which if true is just shameful).

I think they should've given at least one squadmate from ME2.

Whether Jack or Miranda or Grunt, just one.

Grunt should have been the Krogan squadmate for ME3.

"Shepard is my battlemaster, he has no match." It would have been fitting to have one last fight with Grunt on Priority Earth.

As for the topic: I liked Jack's development, wouldn't have minded seeing more of her. But I like Tali too, so I'm satisfied with her role in ME3. I'll just stand over here and shrug my shoulders :innocent:

She brings it up in one of the conversations on ME2. Two week cat-and-mouse battle in the woods, I believe. He put her in a situation where she had to kill an innocent to get to him. She had to let him go. Used her Code against her.

I actually agree. I was pretty bored of Tali by the time 3 came, but James was even worse as a character. I wish I could have had Javik take care of him.

I don't see that as a problem. Those who killed their whole ME2 squad are in the absolute vast minority. We're talking <1%. You actually have to work hard to make that happen.
