I'll play bronze to get galactic readiness up quicker and to bring up N7 level with low level characters that I recently promoted. It's like 2 birds with one stone. But I can't stand when I join a bronze match and it's all maxed level 20 characters meanwhile I'm only level 1.

I hate this because maxed characters are way too strong for bronze. They can kill most enemies with 1 or 2 shots or with 1 or 2 powers. There are times when enemies spawn on the opposite side of the map right next to the lvl 20 and he kills them all before I even have a chance to run to them. You basically have to compete for kills. If everyone was low level than we all would get the same opportunity instead of the unnecessary lvl 20 destroying everything in his path.

Once I get to level 12 I start doing silver and I start doing gold at level 17. I think it's just pathetic for people to be using high levels characters in bronze. Do they really suck that much that they need that much of an advantage. I just wish I could see the looks on their faces after the match when I'm on top with a level 1 character with the most badges and the highest score.

Just stop, you hate people murdering everything in seconds leaving nothing for you to kill, not level 20's in bronze.

There are some people who do suck too much for silver *no offence* so they'd stay on bronze,  and there are those who just stand around for a bit as a level 20 and just assist lowbies.  I sometimes do this.

Its co-op, everyone gets the same XP at the end. Personal score DOESNT matter.

Dude who cares its a co-op game. Like you already said, they probably just want to raise galactic readiness.

Your characters level up quicker when your team wins

Better they stick to bronze. Much better than them scrubbing up Gold.

I agree its pathetic. No reason for level 20 to be in bronze unless you are trying something really off the wall.

It's just not fun when everyone is destroying everything. I would just play silver but most people instant kick when trying to use a level 1 on silver.

Sometimes I'll do a quick Bronze run if I only need a few more credits for my next PSP.

Then go find another match. I struggle at silver and it stresses me out, so I tend to usually play on bronze. Yes, I am one of the sucky players, so go ahead and hate on me, that's fine, just go away out of my lobby.

Though in my defense, you'll usually not see me as an actual level 20 because I tend to promote as soon as I hit that level to aid my single player war assets. Because that is primarily what Mass Effect is, single player, which I do fine at.

Sometimes I'm just not comfortable enough with an unfamiliar race/class and I don't feel right going into Silver with it, let alone Gold, even if it's level 20.

edit- fixed sentence error.

Basically this thread boils down to, "Waaaaah, they're not letting me kill anything!"

Yep, no one cares. Everyone should play on the difficulty that they like, because it's a game made for entertainment purposes.

Level really doesn't matter at all on bronze. I promoted characters this week and topped a bronze scoreboard with my level one SI. There was a level 19 infiltrator and level 20 vanguard in the match.

I agree it sucks when you feel like you're not contributing anything and there's no challenge because your teammates wipe the floor with the enemies.

But yes, there are people who don't feel comfortable on silver, even with a level 20. After two matches, you can switch from bronze to silver, so it's not like this is a terrible hardship.

What does it matter... You get the same experience anyway and probably level up faster. Some people might have really poor weaponry even at lvl 20.

No offence taken.  I have HORRIBLE luck in anything but Bronze.  My Level 20 Geth Engineer has good Bronze games and bad ones.  In Silver, I've seen like one full extraction.  Gold?  Hah.  Dead every time.

Of course, all the Gold games and all but one Silver were not my idea.  I asked for Bronze and I was dropped into something else, skipping the lobby.  Why does the server do this?  Sadism???...

I'd rather go goof around on a Bronze match as a level 20 then on Silver. For example getting the feel for new weapons, classes, or builds.  Sometimes I want to play a quick round before heading to bed and Bronze 20 I dont have to think.

Pathetic is kicking goofy classes on Bronze. Now that's just silly.

What's wrong?`

Doesn't that mean that people are just willing to do your own work?

You'll finish much faster, get much more EXP and money.

You should be grateful.

(I'm a Gold player though)

I do empathize with this. So you get more XP, but at the cost lost fun. Now, on the other hand, if the level 20 player truly sucks, then it is forgivable. But, in my experience, usually they don't suck enough and it ruins the fun factor. Whoop-di-doo, so you get more XP. Do you play for XP points or for fun?

BUT, I don't worry about this anymore because I never every touch bronze now. That's really the solution. Just play silver instead when you want to play bronze. With a good gun or two, level 1 characters on silver is very feasible. I always slap the first couple points into the Fitness tree so I'm just as squishy/non-squishy as a mid-to-high level character. Then, just ignore powers and grab the best gun you have (until your mid-to-high level).

I hate players that "RUN TO ENEMIES".   A smart/good player stays on the outside of the pack & picks them off 1 by 1.  A ****** runs to the enemies & gets slaughtered from all directions.  I constantly have to solo the later waves on silver & gold becasue all my ****** teammates ran right in the middle of the enemies & got killed early on.
