If you're top scoring with a level one character, then you're clearly killing more then them. This to me would indicate that they're not good enough for Silver. 

If your top scoring and levelling up your achieving exactly what you wanted - whats the problem?

I'm not saying people are right to use level 20 characters on bronze, its just sooner or later people need to understand the concept of multi-player

The Bronze, silver and gold levels are focused on the player skill not the character level in my opinion. I'm not a great player as it is and inexperienced to boot so I have not ventured onto a silver game yet. (Perhaps this weekend) I'm usually 3rd or last on the board at the end of most every game even if I'm several levels above the other people. I do still have sucky weapons and a low N& score.

You hate people who chose not to promote?
As long as they don't kick you at the end of the match you get shared exp of everyone.
Or, just solo Bronze ( my lv 8 Vanguard got up to wave 10 and then was atlas+2phantom'd)

why hate the lvl 20's in bronze? free rides everytime you promote

I play my level 20 characters at bronze, why ? Because silver and gold are too difficult for me, and i don't want to hold my team back by dying too often, that's just going to ruin their game. So, i stick at bronze, is that wrong ?
