It's just not fun when everyone is destroying everything. I would just play silver but most people instant kick when trying to use a level 1 on silver.

just drop out and find or start a new game, End of Line.

OP doesn't understand how xp split works? Or is maybe too invested in own ego that seeing a high score is a requirement for fun?

I agree its pathetic. No reason for level 20 to be in bronze unless you are trying something really off the wall.

I'd rather go goof around on a Bronze match as a level 20 then on Silver. For example getting the feel for new weapons, classes, or builds.  Sometimes I want to play a quick round before heading to bed and Bronze 20 I dont have to think.

Pathetic is kicking goofy classes on Bronze. Now that's just silly.

Silver is so easy, i dont even play bronze anymore.. built my Level 6 Salarian up to like a level 16 in 3 silver games!

There are some people who do suck too much for silver *no offence*

the change from bronze to silver is negatable, how can you suck in silver? especially if your character has all the possible powers you can have at lvl 20?

I hate players that "RUN TO ENEMIES".   A smart/good player stays on the outside of the pack & picks them off 1 by 1.  A ****** runs to the enemies & gets slaughtered from all directions.  I constantly have to solo the later waves on silver & gold becasue all my ****** teammates ran right in the middle of the enemies & got killed early on.

you have had horrible teammates, i'm sorry :(

the good teammates run into the middle of everything on gold and leave nothing for you.

I'll play bronze to get galactic readiness up quicker and to bring up N7 level with low level characters that I recently promoted. It's like 2 birds with one stone. But I can't stand when I join a bronze match and it's all maxed level 20 characters meanwhile I'm only level 1.

I hate this because maxed characters are way too strong for bronze. They can kill most enemies with 1 or 2 shots or with 1 or 2 powers. There are times when enemies spawn on the opposite side of the map right next to the lvl 20 and he kills them all before I even have a chance to run to them. You basically have to compete for kills. If everyone was low level than we all would get the same opportunity instead of the unnecessary lvl 20 destroying everything in his path.

Once I get to level 12 I start doing silver and I start doing gold at level 17. I think it's just pathetic for people to be using high levels characters in bronze. Do they really suck that much that they need that much of an advantage. I just wish I could see the looks on their faces after the match when I'm on top with a level 1 character with the most badges and the highest score.

Shhhh...can you hear that? ... It's the sound of me not caring.

I'll make extra sure to kill everything in range with my Widow before it gets near you. You can thank me later. I play in whatever lobby takes my fancy.

Conversely, are XP points the whole point of playing? Are XP points the source of all fun? Some people do play for fun.

Its co-op, everyone gets the same XP at the end. Personal score DOESNT matter.

Personal score does matter.  You get extra stuff.

So if you have an N7 rank of 2000 and just want to level up a lvl1 char, you will still kill most enemies with 1 or 2 shots. You know why? char level doesn't influence weapons. ... you're right about powers though.

And yeah, mostly you're pretty right. Sometimes bronze is fun just to relax though and to try out weapons you haven't used yet.

Eh, It depends on my class. I got dropped into a GIP last night. It was my first silver match in quite a while. Wouldn't you know it? Even though it was my highest level class at level 17, it was also my worst class, infiltrator, and I got dropped onto my worst map, Condor. So even though you might think I'd be all right, I sucked. Odds are that I wouldn't have been any good in a Bronze match with that set up.

Now, put me in there with one of my better classes, adept or sentinal, and I probably would have been all right.

Level 20 in Bronze is like God mode.

What games do you play?  Last weekend, they like TRIPLED the number of Ravagers in Bronze Reaper games, and I was getting knocked down all over the place.  My Level 20 Geth Engineer usually runs with Hunter Mode on, cutting my shields to like 525, and three quick shots from a Ravager puts me out.  I tried running without Hunter and found out it there's no improvement and continued 3-and-out with 1050 shields, so if your God mode allows massive damage then you are correct.  Otherwise, no...

When I play bronze it is to help someone learn the in's and out's of mp. All I have are lvl 20's and I am not going to promote just to play bronze. As a 20 I know that if things go bad I can solo any wave so that means max xp and credits for everyone else. As long as things are not going to hell I have no problems hanging back and watching others kill stuff, kinda like watching your child grow up.

Agree with many above. Casual players like bronze and silver. They will get to level 20. Why should they play gold just because they have level 20 character?

Does rocking a QI with a Saber count ?  Cause i've done that.... just cause i wanted to try it, forgot to make it private though, gave up and realised it was ****** and then someone joined mid game so i felt i had to carry on.

How are you getting the highest score if all the level 20's are getting all the kills before you can get there?

Yes, but that doesn't make the level 1's feeling wrong.

I typically don't use my lvl 20 characters in bronze. I understand that, while it is a co-op game and thus everyone gets the same XP & credits, it is also a "shooting" game where you play to kill things. Having most of the enemies killed before you even get a shot off can take the fun out of playing MP.

We are a big community with players of varying skill levels and different match preferences.

Consider hosting friends who are also leveling up to get the kind of match you want. Lobby hopping is also a way to find the right team for you.

I test odd builds on bronze if I am skeptical of their usefulness. On level 20 characters.

That said, it is unlikely such builds would perform so well as to not leave kills for anyone else so you are likely not complaining about me.

^What he said. Also I like to play bronze with my level 20s when either I don't have time for gold, I only need a couple more credits to buy that PSP, or I just want to unwind and have fun / try out wierd builds and weapons.
