I'll play bronze to get galactic readiness up quicker and to bring up N7 level with low level characters that I recently promoted. It's like 2 birds with one stone. But I can't stand when I join a bronze match and it's all maxed level 20 characters meanwhile I'm only level 1.

I hate this because maxed characters are way too strong for bronze. They can kill most enemies with 1 or 2 shots or with 1 or 2 powers. There are times when enemies spawn on the opposite side of the map right next to the lvl 20 and he kills them all before I even have a chance to run to them. You basically have to compete for kills. If everyone was low level than we all would get the same opportunity instead of the unnecessary lvl 20 destroying everything in his path.

Once I get to level 12 I start doing silver and I start doing gold at level 17. I think it's just pathetic for people to be using high levels characters in bronze. Do they really suck that much that they need that much of an advantage. I just wish I could see the looks on their faces after the match when I'm on top with a level 1 character with the most badges and the highest score.

cool story bro. your rant is invalid. even with 1 kill at the end of a match, everyone gets the same amount exp. DERP

All this is easy to avoid. Play bronze solo. It's what I do when I want to play around.

A lot of people don't like what I said. I guess most of you guys are the ones who use level 20's on bronze. Just promote and start again. Or was bronze with a level 1 character too difficult for you guys.

How are you getting the highest score if all the level 20's are getting all the kills before you can get there?

LMAO! I didn't even catch that obvious discrepancy.

Anyway, as someone stated earlier, player level has nothing to do with it.  I personally play level 20s on Bronze occasionally, and I definitely don't get all the kills.  That's kind of hard to do, even with a maxed out character.

Or it's along the lines of "I only need 5000 more credits, lets knock out a Bronze real quick."

Also you're stupid.

Some times testing new weapons on silver is a bad idea as i learned so painfully (ultra rare indra, i look at you). So i test new weapons on bronze. And my cahracters are usually 20.
Am i a bad person, OP? Am i?

I only play 2 classes (adept and infiltrator). The rest of the classes I've rarely played, however their levels are maxed out due to the plethora of character cards I have received. Since my preferred play style doesn't match well with said classes I rarely use them. When I do use them, I join a bronze game since I'm generally not good with them. No point in me dragging down a gold or a silver match just to get the feel of a class. Isn't that what bronze is for anyways?

Hey, guess what? No.  Besides, now I know it's annoying I'll do it even more with lvl 20 GI.

I agree its pathetic. No reason for level 20 to be in bronze unless you are trying something really off the wall.

While I don't agree its pathetic, I do go into bronze for the off the wall stuff. Some people aren't very good even on silver and are more comfortable on bronze even if they've leveled up their characters.

I'm not going to go into a silver or gold match without trying out a new build, weapon or power and I do that on bronze (WITH my Level 20 characters).

If other Level 20's are there, they may a reason but if they're there to only mess with people that are new, then thats a problem.

So you're running bronze matches so you can up your readiness and level up your characters, but you hate people taking in high level characters that will likely shorten the matches and let you reach your personal objectives, and get out of bronze more quickly?

That makes a whole lot of sense.

now why would we promote? it's much more fun to just stay at level 20 and steal all your kills.

Yep, no one cares. Everyone should play on the difficulty that they like, because it's a game made for entertainment purposes.

Yes, and it should be entertaining for everybody. You play to shoot and kill stuff. But if 20s are instakilling everything, well, how much fun can it be for the low level chars ?

There are two reasons why I play Bronze:

1) To level up a level 1-10 class (though considering all but 1 are level 20 now with no real reason to promote anymore, this is a moot point for me)
2) To top off the credits I need for a SP/PSP quickly.

After #2 happens, I leave the lobby and go back to Silver.

But I do understand how you feel. Playing with a Level 20 Novaguard while using a Level 1 character isn't really much fun when the Novaguard is destroying everything. Makes me feel like I'm not really contributing.

I take my 20s to bronze. There's little to no point to going to gold matches once you finish unlocking everything. MP exists to serve the galactic readiness, so, a quick bronze at 20 is a quick 3%, which I can usually do on a team faster than I can solo it for the 3%.

So, that's why that happens. If you weren't so preoccupied with the epeen N7 rating, and promoting and releveling characters, this wouldn't bother you as much.

So I guess bronze is too difficult for you. That's too bad. Keep practicing and maybe one day you can make it to silver.

There some people who think promoting is useless, they stay on lvl 20 no matter what.

There some people who have all guns, mods, appearences maxed except Ultras, but they play for easy credits not xp.

There some people who suck and need lvl 20 chars just to beat bronze.

Then there is people like me who can beat silver, sometimes gold, but is too lazy to go to a higher difficulty because I want to sit back, relax and have some FUN!

I hope this opens your eyes, beacuase there are many factors.

Its co-op, everyone gets the same XP at the end. Personal score DOESNT matter.

This. If people other than me are doing all the work it doesn't matter.

Well duh. It's obvious you aren't using your rockets on the first thing that steps into view. Try that and you should get all the kills on your next mission. Works for me.

read before replying.

op was complaning that he couldn't get a kill, because lvl 20's, with higher bonusses and powers got them all before him.
i somewhat understand him tho, when i have promoted again, and i join a bronze lobby, it's often with lvl 18 / 20's, i can stand my ground with the weapons i have, but i understand it if you just have to run about and never get the chance to shoot anything, or better yet, kill something.
because those players run about the map playing rambo style.
and we all know on bronze it doesn't spawn anything worthwile (numbers of enemies), and it's as easy as easy can be.
you can't force anybody not to play bronze, but if you're high enough, silver isn't even a challenge, so why not move up? you get more creds, and more xp.
and the little guys (lvl wise or expiernce wise) get their game. w/o some rambo running about.
