No. I expect we'll hear from ex-Bioware employees in the years to come about what went down in actuality, but nothing from either of them.

Probably not.

In case you didn't know they aren't exactly popular at the moments.

I approve of your signature duo.

I believe I may have them in an improper order, Shepard deserves better fans than those who don't believe the ending neuters Shepard.

:bandit: Yeah that.

As far as I am concerned, all three members of the unholy triforce should keep their lying mouths shut indefinitely...

Are they even still employed by Bioware after ruining the entire Mass Effect trilogy?

I suspect Casey Hudson will always be around - it is his idea, after all. He mostly does things right. Endings must not be his forte. Like I said earlier, there is a reason he is more of an ideas guy than a writer himself. As for Mac Walters.. he just needs reassignment. His writing style doesn't suit the technobabble and science fiction since he obviously wants something mystical in Mass Effect's universe.

In response of OP.

Highly unlikely. Its the job of the community manager to interact with the community.

A part of me dreams that they can't respond to us, because they're working so very hard on the Extended Cut...with the entire Bioware team of writers.

They know what they said and know what they did. This is on their hands and I'm hoping that the EC will reflect some semblance of guilt on their part.

As for all of this "NO, WE AREN'T CHANGING THE ENDING! ARTISTIC INTEGRITY VISION MAGIC!" I just attribute to bad PR.

What we got isnt the ending to ME3.

if this was any other type of product they would have been forced into retirement or resignation.

Sad. Sad they said what they said and did what they did. Sad they won't say or do anything about it now.

Unless the employees leave on less than pleasant terms, that isn't going to happen.  After all they still would like to get jobs in the future and bad mouthing a former employer is a good way to lose a good reference.

Not to mention its a small industry. I suspect if u speak bad about one company that it will blacklists to all companies.

I actually prefer if they don't say anything. I only need to hear what projects they might be working on so i can avoid them or buy them on sale

So, you've loved everything they've done until the ending....and now you must avoid them at all costs.  That just feels...overly reactionary.  This is why they NEED to speak.  Maybe not here.  But somewhere, high profile, where the issues can be addressed in a rational conversation.

I don't get this feeling of betrayal...but I didn't get it either for Dragon Age 2.  I've come to the conclusion that I look at gaming very differently than most people on this forum.  The end result should be...did you enjoy playing the game, despite little things that irked you?  And the answer for me is yes.  So, I'm having a hard time understanding this rage.  I feel objectively, endings aside, ME3 is a very well produced, fun game.

So the question becomes...outside of the endings, did anyone enjoy playing the damn game? Image IPB

Did I enjoy playing the game? No, not really.

-The game got to streamlined.
-Cut content that should have been in the game.
-More aimed for shooter fans than before.
-RUSHED OUT THE DOOR BEFORE IT WAS FINISHED!
-Most main quest missions just fell flat.
-Cameo appearances from previous squad mates again were to conveniently placed and did nothing for me except for Mordin.
-A huge lack of side quests.
-The whole Crucible plotline.
-Missing that best of both games (ME1 &ME2) that we were told this one was supposed to be.
-Decisions from previous games didn’t mean squat (rachni queen for example).
-A total lack of urgency to save Earth from the Reapers.
-The “final mission” was crap compared to ME1 and ME2 final missions.
-Diana Allers. Need I say more on her?
-To many “fetch quests” where you use the Normandy probes to fetch the item or people.
-Kai Lang was garbage and as much of a waste as Allers was.
-The whole Cerberus sub plot including their super soldier army.
-NO REPLAY VALUE!
-Auto dialog system.

Its because of all of that, several other things as well and the crapzilla of an ending that I cant even force myself to continue my second game and I havent even gotten to Tuchunka in that one.

Sorry, for digging up this corpse of a thread, but
a) the title's fitting
B) it's not locked down
c) I didn't want to open another one.

Just wanted to put the question out, if anyone knows about ANY vital sign of Casey Hudson since his statement in the forums in March? Has there been any interview, business appearance or something like that? I don't even mean something ME-related, but at least some proof that he's still out there and in charge.

I checked the web yesterday to see if there's anything - unsuccessfully. I only noticed that his Twitter account went dark on March 17th, just at the time of his statement. Mac Walters tweeted at least something.

So, do you guys know anything?

I guess it could be that they are working a lot with the DLC and doesn't want to get sidetracked by twittering, answering quistions on forums etc. Whatever they say or do would cause a lot of responeses and speculations, and than they would need to take time to respond to that etc so it's probably more convinient to stay totaly quite.

I doubt anyone of the team is going to say anything for at least a couple of years, this has just been too much of a car crash. Those that were lower down are going to be hurt about the reception of the game, and how it will affect the company long term while the higher ups won't say anything because they're the ones that will take the hit.

Give it a couple of years and the after action review will creep out.
