And when you're done tilting at strawmen, perhaps you can address something I've actually said for once?

I
have and if you're going to pretend that you are innocent in this
debace please, tell us how.

I don't make sexual insinuations as a
first response towards people I disagree with, to start with
. I also never claimed that people shouldn't complain about the ending.

All I have seen from you is an attempt to argue with someone is irrational and in doing so you reveal quite a bit.

The ending is a failure in marketing, artistry and structure.

I have never denied such, or claimed otherwise.

I have
disagreed on what the issues are, but have never claimed the endings
were anything but flawed and have even written extensively on what I consider better alternatives for not just the ending, but the game as a whole.

The difference I bring to people is that the issues many of them claim are neither new or unusual: anger about advertising conveniently forgets the over-stated promises of ME1 and ME2, for example, while ignorring issues such as the matters of definition between advertisers and consumers expanding hype on their own.

Dude this is the internet, you should get used to this kind of stuff. Hell, I still do it with all my friends, so consider it a compliment I even took the time to start with something like that.

Just a bold guess: no we won't. They knew what they were selling us, they did. Their mandate is fulfilled. They have the money, the damage is done. The ME franchise is done and over. Mission accomplished.

My reading comprehension is fine, I can pretty much read a statement and know exactly what you really meant by it. So yes even though you never said it in so many words, or in those words to be exact this is exactly what you meant.

And yet it isn't at all. Instead, you insulted me and grossly misrepresent my position without even bothering to clarify.

The 95% of the fanbase has been extremely reasonable with these devs, it's pro-enders and people that still have their blinders on and feel the need to defend bioware no matter what. Bioware is not the same company it was when it made BG, or ME1. You can take the blinders off, your posts reek of fanboyism.

While the appeal to statistics is a charming fallacy where no data is there, it also ignores history: both of the forum and the spam-waves it held, and of myself and my own views of Bioware products.

From what I read, a good majority of the test audience thought it downright sucked. So unless you can provide another source, which I will gladly read. Then I have no choice but to go by the one that I read months back.

Tell you what: if you find that source, and I'll match you. Let's see how accurately you can remember what you think you remember.

Okay, fine maybe not a complete brown-noser but a blind fanboy/girl yes, def.

Congratulations: you're capable of backtracking on BS you spout. Now that first inch is good, but there's a mile to go...

Thing is, the same company that John Riccitiello ran, also owned all rights to the ME IP.

Nope and don't care to because while that playing patty cake - living in the artistic integrity... I'm going to off playing great games from other great developers that are coming out and coming out soon.

Like Naughty Dog and The Last of Us.

Bioware knows damn good and well what the issue is. Yes the Anti-Enders are prone to hyperbole and excess but that is a mode brought upon by something that was wholly unexpected. They have every right to complain. Bioware has every right not to do anything.

They have chosen to do something with the Extended Cut.

People have already decided to be Unhappy. That is Bioware's fault. Before the month was over many thousands of people voiced their displeasure. Then the price drops came and it took almost a month for Bioware to say anything.

Bioware started the fire when they released the game in it's current format. All the hardcore fanbase did was whip it into a frenzy.

Both are at fault but the entity that is responsible for the blaze has yet to extinguish it.

And this is an excellent example of how the Bioware Forum is not filled with reasonable, mature adults prepared to have adult conversations with those they disagree with: when the advocate of board maturity claims vitriolic trolling as an acceptable standard of conversation.

The only reason I even backtracked is to shut your whining up. I still have my opinion that you're a brown-noser but to keep you from whining, I'll leave it at what I said.

The Onus is on you to provide your source, not me.  You came in and said I was wrong, provide your source.

How exactly do you figure that you aren't one big BW fanboy/girl? I mean jeez, you even bought that ****astic game DA2. You can't get anymore loyal than that.

As I also stated, I talk to my real life friends like that, if I feel you're on someones nuts I'm gonna tell you. Sort of like my boy who know nothing about Lebron James and is all up on his nuts, because Miami is in the play-offs it's the same thing, you should feel honored.

This is absurd: Bioware did say things in and after the release. They simply did not say what various people wanted them to say, and they were actively attacked by people for what they did say. If anyone is to blame for Bioware being too silent, it would be those who actively shut down attempts at communication.

Bioware started the fire when they released the game in it's current format. All the hardcore fanbase did was whip it into a frenzy.

When a large-enough population deliberatly eschews reconciliation attempts in favor of maintaining hostility, the responsiblity falls on them as well.

It's thin-skinned wusses that take the fun out of all of it. If you can't have fun on the internet don't post, simple as that. I am plenty capable of holding a civilized, non-trolling, mature conversation with you. But, lets face it, after a while that gets old.

Bioware did say things that are not really true, that I can forgive, but they should NOT be surprised that people called them out on it.

You also reiterated my point when you responded. Both sides are at fault.

I have not seen them even once try to reconcile with us, that's just it. All we want is for them to communicate with us. They had the audacity to take our money. But, when something goes south, they're no-where to be found AND when they do communicate, they speak to us in a condenscending manner.

Ah, so now you're not only baseless but a liar as well.

The Onus is on you to provide your source, not me.  You came in and said I was wrong, provide your source.

I came in and challenged your source that you claimed first: why shouldn't the onus be on you?

How exactly do you figure that you aren't one big BW fanboy/girl? I mean jeez, you even bought that ****astic game DA2. You can't get anymore loyal than that.

This can be turned just as easily on you: you played ME3. Ergo, you can't be anymore loyal than that.

The obvious flaw in that argument is that playing a game doesn't imply anything about what you think about the game.

As I also stated, I talk to my real life friends like that, if I feel you're on someones nuts I'm gonna tell you. Sort of like my boy who know nothing about Lebron James and is all up on his nuts, because Miami is in the play-offs it's the same thing, you should feel honored.

I should be honored by an alleged adult who has the conversational maturity of a teenager?

Sure.

You may or maynot be capable, but the simple fact that you don't is what validates the view that fans such as yourself are too much trouble: actions speak louder than potentials, and you actively affirm your intention to avoid maturity.

Wow, talk about a buzz killington...

Not really, it can't be turned around. Because I bought the game the day it came out, I had no idea the ending was going to suck the way it did. So again, no you can't just flip my argument on it's head.

Because the challenger, always provides his proof first, it's like a game of hold-em. If you're the player that is all in first in a two man hand, you're the one that has to show first, simple as that.

However, if you aren't going to show your source, I'm damn sure not going to dig through thousands of posts to see if I can find the link I clicked on.

Certainly. In ME2, I was definitely one of the ones on the more critical side of 'consequences', and the 'no right way' balance between Paragon and Renegade.

At the same time, however, there are issues claimed as lies that are as much a fault of selective interpretation on the fans part as anything on Bioware's.

You also reiterated my point when you responded. Both sides are at fault.

Yes. But the onus to reconcile is on both as well.

Where is the irony at? The fanbase has steadily approached them trying to reconcile by asking questions, wondering what happened to our beloved series. They are the ones that have ignored these attempts, thus keeping this war alive. If Casey or Mac brought their asses in here or even on twitter and stated. "Ok, guys and girls, this is what's up. We're going to be doing this and we're going to try to correct our mistakes" Everything would instantly be forgiven. But, when the Lead Writer and the series Creator don't even think enough of their fanbase to do that, then why should we continue to try and reconcile?

Actually, yes it can. He had no proof DA ][ "sucked" until he played it.

Or do you believe everything you see on the Internet.
