Several of you have taunted me, unfairly of course, stating sarcastically that someone with my supposedly "radical" or "extreme" beliefs would probably go so far as to support Cerbeus and the Illusive Man. Well, guess what? You absolutely f****ing right. Every other race uses their particular advantages to secure their spot in the galaxy over the others. The Asari use their economy and secret Prothean technology, the Turians have their military, the Salarians have their intelligence services and special forces. Humans don't have any of that. So in order to ensure our place in the balance of power, and eventually dominate all the other races, we need to use whaever means possible. Therefore, the Reapers become very convenient for us. With their unstoppable fleet and priceless indoctrination technology, we can take control of the mentally inferior species such as the Krogan, take control of the abominable synthetics and bring them into our fold, and use the mighty Reaper fleet to destroy our enemies. Then we can usher in a golden age of humanity and ensure our dominance in the galaxy for eternity. Anyone who disagrees is a fool.

And none of them were adequate! Took all of them together. Also, the female Krogan mind seemed to not be inferior, it was just the male Krogan attitude. Humans were the most powerful of all races, more powerful than even the Reapers. Humans took the powers out there and brought them together, to defeat the Reapers. And if Shepard controlled and did not outright destroy in the final scene, he became more powerful than all others in the universe...a single man. The indoctrinated are not strong enough to unite anyone other than those who are subjugatable (geez, I hope that is a word). Anyone who subjugates will never add the power of someone more powerful...only a diplomat is more powerful than himself.

humanity didn`t unite the galaxy shepard did

It was Shepard's humanity which led him to do so. Do you think a Krogan could have or would have done that? Or are you saying Shepard is not human?

Cerberus are the right men, who know what is at stake. They love their identity, they know we should fight for what is right.

Ah yes "The ends justify the means".

We have dismissed that claim.

You can never dismiss this claim because it is true.

The end is world peace, the means is totally obliterating all life on earth.

That cannot be justifiable by any sane person, therefore, the claim is dismissed.

Catamantaloedis is actually the Roman Emperor Caligula.

Which one was that?  Sorry, its hard to remember a civilization whose republic was the true form of itself, then died.  Then the corpse crippled, divided itself, lost one half, was taken over by the Saracens, and then when the Holy version of itself moved to Russia, was overthrown again.

Its fun bringing up names of people who did something that has been long forgotten by many, and when anyone remembers any point of their virtue, will not follow it.

One of the great truly awful people in the history of humanity. Caligula was a brute who killed without hesitation and neraly bankrupted Rome with his activities.

Tinto Brass made an awful film about him.

The Caligula film with Malcolm McDowell and Helen Mirren? I heard that was dire, never gotten around to watching it though. I normally like McDowell, too.

Ah yes, the good old "well they do it so I'm gonna do it too" argument. And to justify imperialism no less.

The kids in the school yard would be proud.

My my, this just keeps getting better and better.

Why is there so many threads about how great Cerberus are recently :/ Anyome who thinks Humanity is 'superior' and we can 'enslave the Krogan' is definitely two colours short of a ending. You try telling a krogan that it is mentally inferior and see how that works out... And you just automatically think every human would even want to control the Reapers in the first place (you know the synthetics who have murdered billions of people and relatives), but that they would want to then enslave everyone. Thank god people like you are a minority in our day and age.

Here's the deal. The film was directed by Tinto Brass and produced by Bob Guccione of Penthouse.

Things happen in that film that should never be discussed.

It has both a hardcore and softcore version if you catch my drift.

Well no one suggested oblitterating life in the earth or the galaxy to achieve worldly or galactic peace, so I'm just going to attribute that comment to a failure in the school systems.

My thoughts on Cerberus are incomplete because of the character assassination that was done in ME3 just for the sake of making them the bad guys. I loved Cerberus from ME2. ME3 invokes a massive face_plain for the completely spastic and terrible writing.

Agree.

Was I the only one who initially on the Mars mission thought until it was proven otherwise that Eva was Miranda? She wore similiar clothes, after all.

Is there an identity crisis? Hackett != Shepard. What does Hacket have to do with it?

But you are right, there seem to be some humans less worthy. I never did like the left-clickers, something I could not do. They're all worth trying to save, what they do with it is another story.

Cerberus in ME2 is the example on what every patriot should do.
