As team as they come?  How often do you play as an engineer, and simply strip shields from Primes, pyros, etc and then leave them there shieldless for your infiltrator teammate to make short work of while you move on to stripping shields from other armored targets and keeping the trash off the infiltrator?

Wow, I guess that is to be expected since tools/hacks that use the sniping infiltrator setup are on par with FBWGG farmers. Same mentality and skill level.

I have a human sentinel called xthrowspamx with t,he recharge speed bonus on throw and the tac armor, full heath, full tac armor... and only 4 in warp because its a class aimed at playing with a justicar and AA. I just throw throw the whole game giving them BEs. I only point points in warp in case stuff happens or I get isolated/have to clutch it.

I build my characters to fit in with specific roles an setups. I don't just cloak and leave my teammates out to dry.

Sniping as an infiltrator is one of the most boring things you can do after you've done it for a while. The reason it is so popular and everyone in here is butthurt is becuse 90% of you are all hacks/tools at this game.

Infiltrator hiding in a corner of the map cloaked making fun of a human vanguard in the middle of all the action just beasting the enemy up. You sit in the corner cloaked, I'll chardge into 6 enemie and kill them all in 10-15 seconds.

You didn't answer my question.   I gave an example of how one can play as a team and be unselfish and you made assumptions.  I'll make the assumption that you would never play as an engineer and strip shields for somone else all game.  It is a thankless job.

And FWIW, I do not farm.  I enjoy biotics and my favorite class to play is the human adept which is hated on in this forum.   When I play with my friends, I run around detonating their biotic explosions getting low point assists while they get theh points for the kills. And not a single **** is given by me.

And so we realise that you are 12.

Sniper infiltrators are long range take down, with the tac cloak to take objectives and revive. Geth infiltrator can often be used as mad meele, especially with geth engineer doing support. The Salarian comes with the prox mine which aids take down.

Do not mock other class builds when you only experiance of any infultators is of them sitting at the back and sniping. You know, doing their job.

You can rock the sentinal with the adepts, personally I'm happy to see any infiltrator or alt sniper build. It means that I can leave solo targets when I'm running Turian soldier to him, and mow down groups and support where required.

If i'm running infiltrator then I'm doing my best to take down targets at long range before they become a problem. Ravengers especially, turrets and rocket troopers and hunters.

Yep you can run full agg infiltrator with shot gun, for the numbers on DPS. But I find that less fun.

If I want to run agg I'll run Krogan, anything.

Sniping takes no skill on this game. There is no drop. Its point and shoot, just like aiming an assault rifle. The bullet goes wherever you point it and hits the target instantaneously in that spot. We already discusses this earlier.

Yes, you have discovered the purpose of crosshairs. congrats.

EDIT: the lower barrels on the guns are actually sensors that calculate the distance between you and your target so your bullet will hit it. it says in the codex that if te distance was not calculated, the bullet would, powered by the mass effect field, travel infinitely and not cause as much damage to your target. there is no drop because it has been scienced out by the weapon manufacturers.

Just joined a silver lobby as a geth infiltrator with claymore. There were two infiltrators already in there LOLOLOL

What is funny is one was a level 13 human infiltrator with an N7 of 40 and someone voted to kick him. Person must be worried abut losing a silver. I'm guessing its one of the hacks that responded to this topic.

i completely disagree with this thread, infiltrators are the most effective class in this game to burst down strong enemies. though im still having very good laugh at people who say it requires skill and tactics :DDDD its not like 90% of ME players are rolling infiltrators :DDD well it is. i do too when i play MP, but with claymore. its so satysfiing weapon. trust me.

why would I want to get up close and personal with Banshees and Brutes when they can instakill me? That sounds rather foolish. Then again I only use the Infiltrator in a support role mostly for healing and objectives and if someone has overload i set up tech bursts. I also finding proximity mine useful for crowd control. I dont snipe though.

I just got kicked for my first time in a gold lobby...played two rounds with what I thought was a great group of guys. Granted, I outscored the 2nd place player by 40k both times, but I was picking off enemies from afar and I alone capped all the objectives, while they took care of the enemies. I was really surprised that they kicked me after that, since I provided alot of cover fire and teamwork. I guess some people don't like getting outscored, when it isn't that important/fair of a system anyway?

P.S. To the person that said sniping gets  boring in this game must not have had the pure pleasure of making three headshots with a BW before the cloak damage buff breaks. It is one of the most satisfying things in the game other than Batarian Falcon punching a Phantom.

You can strip the sheilds yourself with ED. You are obviously playing the salrian infiltrator all wrong. You are definitely one of those hack/tools I want to avoid. Use ED and a multiple shot gun (e.g. BW) to avoid sheild gate. Tactically speaking, the more shots you put down field in a shorter period the better. I would sit with a sniper if I had on stasis and we were playing Cerberus. I freeze every combat engineer and phanton I see and you take their head off before they get close or can put down a turret. Do that all the time.

You must suck if you need someone to sit there and babysit you desheilding everything so you can shoot it.

You never sat in that little tiny room on firebase glacier and had two banshees in there with you? A brute coming in and god knows what else? Never been instakilled in there because my teammates are setting up and detonating biotics, not hiding in a corner cloaked.

Easiest way to beat FBG is to sit in there with a warp bubble and some biotis and even a novaguard.

I side I would run my AA next to your infiltrator so I can freeze them and you can shoot them.

that's ok because i can live without playing with anyone who can't even spell "lobbies".

the amount of time i spend reviving people is almost the same as i spend sniping - which is about the most satisfying thing in the game: head-shots never get old. sometimes i even rez the tools that run to objectives on gold and get everyone killed - op that sounds like you. i am amused by hosts that quit when i've out-scored them massively several times in a row, too.
