Re: being outscored.
Same money, same xp. I only care about score when my friends are involved just for competitive reasons/bragging rights. We usually go on missle fests rounds 8-10 if our score are close trying to edge one another. I don't care if unknowns outscore me. Hell, if you can solo it. I'll die and watch you go.
Re: medic/objective capping.
While the iniltrator is helpful in reviving and capping pylons they are absolutely useless in a hack on gold against reapers. You contribute nothing. I need a team oriented player wanting to combine powers. In addition, when I play with full teams of biotics we have no issue capping pylons or reviving one another. Infiltrators are loners, they are selfish and do not care about the team or winning.
Re: tactical superiority:
The class is a bit overpowere with a gun such as the blackwidow if you can get off a PM or ED and a few cloaked shots. Its basically for people who think they can play gold or who are too scared to play without being able to hide. When things go bad the true colors come out and the cowardly infiltrators prove their uselessness.
Re: Distilled Poison
You are absolutely correct. 99% of snipers just fire shots down field. They don't care if the target is primed or not. Lots of them also steal kills at the last second which boosts their score.
Re: infiltrator for noobs:
Sniping infiltrators sit in the corner and hide in the back of the maps loaking and shooting stuff. They are as far away from the action as possible. Not sure why they even bought a video game? Essentially, they are playing Duck Hunt. They should just hook up an old nintendo or something. Use a real class. Get up close and personal and smash the enemy in the face. Your cowardice sickens me.
Addendum: a good infiltrator on some maps vs some enemies can be a good help. I can usually outscore most people if I ED/PM and use my Black Widow II but I'd say 1 out of 2 or 3 people entering a gold lobby come in as infiltrators. 90% of them/you are simple hacks with little skill.
To reiterate, go play Huck Dunt on the nintendo if you want to snipe with a widow. You even get a cool orange gun to shoot at the tv with.

Wait a second. The class is for noobs but the GPS is not nooby? I sense hypocrisy.
GPS is the best overall weapon in the game by far. It is ridiculously overpowered considering the auto-aim.
If you have a smashmouth, in your face class I will accept it but only on a a few classes (shotty cloak build or Geth with the Geth weapon damage bonus). If you have a class with powers you need a higher cooldown so you can help your team.
Random gold or reaper gold and the Duck Hunt playing infiltrators go bai bai.

Nothing sounds better than the hornet ripping into unshielded flesh. So so on armored targets but does a great job with meatbags.

This poster needs to pay a little more attention to builds. I’ve seen infiltrators rocking some unique set ups and they tend to pull it off successfully; while reviving the team when they get raped in a corner. My Infiltrator rocks a carnifex X and a Hornet X. I do just find ripping shields and switching up to rip armor.

I'd kick you with that loadout because you are using the biggest tool/noob class and doing it wrong. You aren't even maximizing the cloacly damage. You apparently just want it to hide and the hornet has an obscene amout of recoil.
Hell, I'd kick you just for having two guns on an infiltrator. Just shows confusion and that you have no idea how to use the class.

Wrong. The score you recieve is based on how much damage/control you deal to the target. I used Biotic Charge to killsteal a Banshee and I only gained 39 points from that.

*Edit: Giant Post*
I'd say that depends on the player. I think everyone cares about winning, and I know many members of the forum who play mainly as Infiltrators are team players. Also, contributing powers: Proxy Mine freaking 20% increased damage by all sources [Guess what, includes Biotic Explosions]. Spamming that proxy mine on the heavy targets (and hitting nearby enemies with the AoE) helps the whole team. Good infiltrators also won't shoot the BE primed targets.
Unless the team is staying in a horrible area tactically, I'll stick it out in the fray with them instead of running away (even though in many cases running away is a more tactically sound plan).
"You are absolutely correct. 99% of snipers just fire shots down field. They don't care if the target is primed or not. Lots of them also steal kills at the last second which boosts their score. " - Kill stealing, in a co-op game, lol. Sorry, once it gets under half health I'll stop shooting it so you can get your precious kills.
Smashing the enemy in the face on Gold is a pretty damned bad idea, especially against Reapers. Let's just go melee that Banshee to death, yeah. Also helps that a lot of tactically secure locations are far from the enemies, though against Reapers you'll likely be doing a fair bit of moving around the map anyway.
Soldiers are played more often than infiltrators.

First, let me clarify: I meant to say gold reaper lobbys. I find 95% of sniping infiltrators to be useless against reapers.
Dude, seriously, you should get your head examined because you are delirious.
I use a level 20 Salarian Infiltrator on gold vs Reapers all the time. Got my Widow X and maxed out proximity mines so I eat Banshees, Brutes and Ravagers for breakfast.
I often set the map to Condor when playing against the Reapers only to ****** a few people of, but I like it because you mostly have to put in a little more effort if you're not that good of a player

I do it all the time to my friends. It irks them. Its essentially a form of trolling but we are friends so it is acceptable behavior. I don't want some random tool coming in and taking all the credit for my hard work.
