Did you see what he typed there? they change the enemies on gold, means its most likely an AI change, not even a spawn change, hell if its a spawn change, all you need to do is switch to another L shaped console. or if you want to play it safe, have 2 engineers instead of 1.

of course everyone is entitled to have their opinion... but i dont know man, seems to me that this is not just because they want to avoid people earning easy credits and somewhat "force" people to buy bioware points...
You dont seem to have any issue with the way geth are beign farmed on gold level... as a player i do have an issue with this.
Its freaking boring... its like using any kind of unortodox trick to defeat hard foes on any game...
The thing is.. its supposed to be the hardest level of dificulty and it shouldnt be so easy to beat. people just sit back and unless somethiing really weird happens theres no way they are going to lose that match. I've started to host my own gold matches since im tired of beign unable to find people looking to actually have a good team match, most of them prefer to just gather credits as fast as posible using FBG/G/G.

1. As stated, you can't mess up the spawns without doing it on all maps or requiring a major overhaul to one map that will require a full patch. You can turn off LoS, but then you get spawns on top of you if you are not direct LoS on all maps.
2. Take away FBW and there will be a new farm map before you can even queue for Gold again. The reason for farming is that people want Gold level money to buy things without dealing with Gold level challenge. What this should say to Bioware is that most people do not find Gold fun enough to play on it's own merit.
3. Honestly, I hope they do find a way to stop Gold credit farming. Because I am pretty sure that 90% of the people would quit playing Gold matches, leaving ultra long queue times for all the anti-farming whiners; assuming that they had enough people to make a match at all. Then we will get posts about how to force people to play Gold so they can have enough people to play with.

One is a bug.
The other is simple statistics.
If you think it takes the same level of skill to fix a bug as it does to change a line of text that says "Geth Shields - Number here", you're sorely mistaken. Hell, they probably don't even have the same people working on them, because they're completely different things.

It isn't BW driving the change, it's a very vocal MINORITY that is upset that they can't get bodies to fill the Gold matches THEY want to play. They can't even deny it, because if you ask any of them why they don't host, the answer is "I hate waiting for the room to fill, it would fill faster if you nerf farming". Do a search for their posts, they all cover two things.
1. 90% of people playing Gold farm, it isn't fair because I hate farming.
2. I can't host because 90% of the people playing Gold only play to farm or can't play Gold any other way because they lack l33t skillz.
It is self-defeating logic, because there will always be a core of people that find an easier way to do things using TACTICS, and the sheep will follow. So farms will continue, unless BW finds a way to kill farming on all maps; at which point the people complaining will have a nice, very SMALL, pool of players to try and fill their matches with.

Seriously though, at this rate, the "weekly" updates may as well turn into a "10-day" updates. It's getting to the point where delays are more frequent than anything actually released on time.
Now that I think about it, when was the last time something they released was actually on time?
This furthers my point that Bioware should stop working on multiplayer and hire another company to do all the MP work for them, they're clearly not cut out for it, what with the delays and the unsucessful patch (which made some problems worse).

Edit: to those complaining about changes being late, I'm pretty sure you'd rather they delay it than mess something up further. Or this could be like Diablo 3.

Geth and Reapers teams need more enemy types, Cerberus has way more diversity. This is one of the issues that make Geth so easy to farm on FBW.
Cryo Blast should have some initial damage and have more clarification on what it means for rank 6 Frozen Vulnerability evolution with the Weaken armored targets by an additional 25%.

I imagine farmers will be mad when they will have a sneaky prime at their backdoor. The other L-shaped console does not provide firing lane wide and long enough farm safely.
Also, hard to find 2 engies that know how to place decoy/dron/turrent effectively
And some trust for BW staff. They probably devised some devious way to hamper the campers!

Create a Geth Juggernaut with a Grenade Launcher. Two birds, one stone, I suppose. I mean the lack of a grenade-like projectile is what causes Geth to be so farm-able.

Or just give geth hunters ability to teleport behind the player. That should fix it.
