I love their priorities.
People have an easy way to earn credits instead of giving Bioware more money: "FIX IT NOW!!!"
The Vanguard class becomes unplayable halfway through every match: "Meh... We'll get to it someday..."
mmm
of course everyone is entitled to have their opinion... but i dont know man, seems to me that this is not just because they want to avoid people earning easy credits and somewhat "force" people to buy bioware points...
You dont seem to have any issue with the way geth are beign farmed on gold level... as a player i do have an issue with this.
Its freaking boring... its like using any kind of unortodox trick to defeat hard foes on any game...
The thing is.. its supposed to be the hardest level of dificulty and it shouldnt be so easy to beat. people just sit back and unless somethiing really weird happens theres no way they are going to lose that match. I've started to host my own gold matches since im tired of beign unable to find people looking to actually have a good team match, most of them prefer to just gather credits as fast as posible using FBG/G/G.
I'll admit it can be annoying, but I really don't care how other people want to earn their credits. If I search an A/A/G and I end up in a FBW/G, I simply change my search to A/C/G and that fixes that 9/10 times (I hate Reaper Gold with randoms, always fail lol).

One is a bug.
The other is simple statistics.
If
you think it takes the same level of skill to fix a bug as it does to
change a line of text that says "Geth Shields - Number here", you're
sorely mistaken. Hell, they probably don't even have the same people
working on them, because they're completely different things.
Yes the Vanguard problem is a
bug, as you put it; but it's been a
bug before the game even released. We were told that was fixed on the retail disc, 2 months later and I still have never been able to extract with a Vanguard because I never make it past wave 9 without hitting the
bug. You don't know how pissed I was when I finally unlocked the Kroguard and found out that they STILL haven't fixed it. The Vanguard class is 1/5 of multiplayer. If 20% of multiplayer is rendered unplayable, you have a big problem.
The other isn't
simple statistics. You're sorely mistaken if increasing "Geth Shields" will stop farmers. The only way to possibly deter farmers (you're complaining about) without hurting the average player is changing the AI patterns for FBW (which most likely will never happen). Another possibility is for them to change the spawning system, which would still negatively affect normal players. Either way is not
simple statistics, it would require a lot of work and testing to make sure it doesn't break the game.
Let's also remember that it's possible to farm on almost any map. The amount of hate towards FBW is ridiculous. IF Bioware somehow manages to kill farming on FBW, I'll die laughing at the rage towards farming on Glacier, Giant, etc. I honestly rather they do nothing to FBW. Right now FBW is the designated farm. When I end up at FBW, I know immediately that they're farming. Kill FBW, and I won't know I'm stuck with a group of farmers until I've already wasted 10 mins.
TLDR: Adding shields will change nothing and is ultimately just a waste of time. More time should be spent fixing Day 1 problems, than policing players.
