There is an annoying, and arguably major(in the sense that it's affecting possibly everybody) bug that doesn't award you with the 2H sword "Shaperate's Blessing" after completing the quest "Golem Registry". 

Why is this important? Shaperate's Blessing is one of the strongest 2H swords in the game, despite being only silverite.

Has anyone managed to get it? In order to see if you've completed it right, go to your codex, and read "The Shaper's Life", scroll down to the bottom, and read the last paragraph(about 5lines).

huh mine always says items added to inventory but when I check it I do not have anything new!!!

The npc always says he gives you a reward but I never actually got anything added to my inventory.

Its probably bugged. But you can find it in the toolset, so shouldn't be too hard to add it to the game.

According to this database there are three "Shaperate's Blessing" items in the game--a greatsword, a mace, and a staff, all silverite.  I'm guessing you're supposed to get the greatsword if you're a warrior, the mace if you're a rogue, and the staff if you're a mage.  Has anyone gotten any of them?  Someone on another forum reports having legitimately gotten the staff in the 360 version--they didn't say what class they were playing, though.

I always pp the shaper guy... maybe that interacts with his inventory somehow?

there are a ton of times the game says i've been awarded an item or stealing is successful and nothing appears, this is nothing new, although still irritating

I've finished that quest as a rogue and as a mage (360 version) - never got a reward for it though

I've definetly had it, but only once that I can recall. Oddly I was playing as a warrior and I remember it as a mace I didn't know it came in any other flavours. That may've been because I had specialised in Sword and Board....

I've completed the quest NINE times, on a warrior and no Shaperate's Blessing.

starfang is better, infact those rewards ar e pretty mediocre overall.  I have never gotten them either on PC, but I can easily say I've always had better regardless.

Most rewards in the game are moderate...and thats putting it nicely tbh

Shaperate's Blessing has armor penetration and a close attack bonus as well.

Starfang also can only either be made into the 1H or 2H, so if you make into 1H for Alistair, you're out o luck.

Nice. Another item I have "lost" due to bugs. Glad that at least I don't use two handed weapons in my parties. :/

Same here, 3 times and i always get the "you received item" but nada!.
