the reason liara has so much extra time basically is because she is the only squademate who can`t die in me1 and me2 so she is always there

This has already been established, and I still don't like it.

Because Liara is awesome. She is a well fleshed out character with growth through all 3 games and is multidimensional giving us a glance into the complexities such a long lived race would exhibit. Also, she's cute and ... dangerous. I wish we got to see her ****** though. Peas.

Can this forum not go 5 minutes without somebody creating this topic?

That doesn't make it okay. And everyone already knows that.garrusfan1 wrote...

Most people are just wondering why the writers had to make it so. Why they HAD to force her on us in so many parts.

Saw the title, immediately began imagining.
"Liara, steak."
*steak lies there, being a steak*
"I think about when there's so much Liara."
*steak continues steaking*
"I f*ing love Liara."
More constructively . . . I dunno, I guess they like her. I mean, I like her as a character, I just wish the other folks got a bit more screen time - not necessarily at her expense, but to bring them closer to hers.

I don't see it.
I'm currently playing through the singleplayer again, and doing a full sweep of the Normandy after every mission. Liara rarely has anything new to say, whereas Garrus and Joker have new dialogue after almost every mission. There's the time capsule scene, but Garrus fans get to sympathetically miss a shot on the Citadel. In contrast, I don't even remember Liara's Citadel scene from my first run.
I think Liara and Garrus get a similar amount of player interaction. Tali misses the boat because she's recruited so late in the game (again). The other squad members all get second class treatment, with Ashley taking the cake.
Liara is not as universally liked as Garrus, though, hence the complaints.

People just complain about whomever they dislike. I replayed ME1 just a couple of days ago, and I found myself saying stuff like, "Boy, they sure have a lot of Kaidan in this!", and, "Wow - Ashley sure comes on strong!"

Let me guess you want more Garrus op? Liara isn't shoved down anyone's throat she is a squadmate on Mars and then part of Menae and Thessia. You interact with her what three mandatory times on the ship wow it's overwhelming.

I don't think that the problem is that there's too much Liara, but the 'role' she has as Shepard's ultimate BFF. Also, personally, it seems like her personality regressed from where it was in LoTSB, in ME3 she just seemed so....soft.
Just my opinion though, no need to go spreadin' it around.
