Because Liara is Shepard's Stalker, also Writer favoritism of Liara. You don't see nearly as much from most of the other romance interests. And some of them get downright pitiful amounts of screentime.

Because its cheaper then hiring a new voice actor for major roles and making new character models. Think about it, in me2 its role could have been played by anyone(comics too). In me3, why is it on Mars? Even if the Alliance doesn't believe in the reaper threat why would the let a non nationalized foreign alien on to a top secret government project?

I liked the cute ME1 Liara, but the later Liara seemed like a different character and Tali became the 'cute' LI.  Of course, I liked Ash better than either or any of them.

Liara's character got on my nerves at points. Which says alot about her writing. I was not indifferent to her like I was to say Jacob. However the fact she could never die really pissed me off. I also didn't like the amount of screen time she got compared to other character who I personally like more.

I wish that so many characters weren't killable. Then, they might have gotten more development.

Liara was very clingy in ME3. But I was actually OK with it, since she's been with you from the beginning and is all nostalgic and junk. It fit into the storyline for me,and that time capsule stuff put a tear in my eye, I'll admit.

She's too damn "Touchy-Feely." Where was the option to say, "Sorry, Liara. I have a Love Interest already, and her name is M-R-A-N-D-A -- L-A-W-S-O-N. Stop trying to touch me all the time?"

This is all one big plot from BioWare which I will not fall prey to.

It's there way of not so subtly reminding you that you made the wrong choice when you didn't romance Liara. She's your canon romance whether you like it or not.

I liked  having Garus as my best bud. I had a friend like him when I was in the Marines. So that is one part I really enjoyed about the friendship with Garus lol.

Oh, I love Garrus, too. But after hearing some people point it out, I had to re-examine things and be intellectually honest.

And between Garrus and Liara, my own LI got little screen time even though he was on the ship and I'd been forced to wait for an entire game to reknew the romance. All things considered, I'd rather sacrifice Liara's extra screentime for my LI to get some extra time.

I will say this. I don't wish them to remove screen time of a LI to increase another LI's screen time, BioWare just needs to add more LI content for each possible LI outcome period. I agree they did not do justice with most of the possible LI's. Even though I only romance Liara. it just doesn't seem fair that some can get an amazing in depth romance and build to a relationship over the course of the entire series, and very little with another LI. You should beable to spend the same ammount of time with each LI in my opinion.
