Do you even read what other people write? You've been presented with many valid arguments and reasons why your 'logic' is reviled by the majority of people. You then chose to ignore them and continue spewing nonsense.

If you call something valid, it does not automatically become one. There were good arguments from my opponents in this thread, I admit. They made me think about my position from their point of view and sometimes agree with them. You, however, think that everything I say is nonsense. This is not fair, don't you think?

Taking a leaf from Stark's book here.

Trollbro (you): "Humanity is flawless!"

People of this thread: "There's no throne, there is no version of this where you come out on top. Maybe your argument makes sense, and maybe it's too much for us, but it's all on you...Because if we can't protect the diversity of the galaxy, you can be damn well sure we'll avenge it."

Thank you for the link. Maybe I do not need to argue with you guys, as you are clearly trolling me. Real mature...

Under Real life examples:

"As the name suggests, Trolls. They often create illogical theories to prove that the side they are arguing with are actually child molesters, hypocrites or whatever. This is just one of their tactics, but it's easily the most recognizable, to the point that users often label everyone they don't agree with as a troll, which is actually an even better example of Insane Troll Logic."

Thank you so much for proving my point. Image IPBImage IPBImage IPB

Where do you take it from? You completely misinterpretated my words. Is it bad to support your favourite sports team? Is it bad to think that they are the best? That they should dominate in the tournament? It's called compassion, empathy and I share it a lot.

Hmm... But I do not try to make arguing side bad. I am defending myself from PC horde. You, however, try to call me troll and make me look bad. This quote of yours is actually harming your stance.

Heh.

Going for your favourite team, willing it to win, that's something everyone I know shares.

What I also know is that when the other team gives it a fair go, they are respected for it. That's compassion and empathy. Not sure how they do it where your from, but down here in Australia we respect the other team.

Mass Effect is a universe that thrives on diversity, in fact that's why the Reapers are so feared. Not just because they kill indiscriminately, but because they kill any and all diversity and mash it together into a single whole.

You are defending your original inflammatory post that people took offence at. That was the illogical theory. You then wrote off everyone who disagreed with you as alien sympathisers, unpatriotic, anti-human, etc etc whilst saying yours was the correct view.

In short, Hyperion is right.

I agree. They speak about my patriotism, thinking outside of the PC box and my determination.

... no. That just means that your argument is stupid, you've realized that it's stupid and are now claiming it doesn't matter that it's stupid because it's a hypothetical situation.
Honestly, I don't even understand why you're still arguing with that reasoning. You've just proven that the argument doesn't matter to you because it's hypothetical.

Respect is one thing. Wanting to achieve draw or your team's defeat is another.

This allegory only works for your narrow-minded way of thinking that multiple different species have to directly compete with each other.

*sighs*

Cerberus is flawed. It's hopelessly corrupt. It kills its own to achieve a goal. That's a pretty sad way to get a win for your 'team'.

I seriously don't know what drivel they feed you where you live, but down here in Australia, we actually pride ourselves on being rational and respectful.

No he stated he hated the greed of people and of humanity in general. It is an aspect of our civilisation, frankly a bad one. You decided to extrapolate his argument to encompass humanity in its entierity.
Granted Gen Petitt would have helped his/her cause by stating that they hated an aspect of humanity, however the overall tone of their statement should have made their intent clear.

I think that exterminating a traitor is more justified than killing a direct enemy.

What is "drivel"?

Drivel is a polite term for the constant sewage-like effluence that spews out of a orifice, most commonly from a would-be troll's keyboard.

To be fair, your arguments would work if three things were different.

1. Cerberus is actually a morally ambigous organisation with some very noble goals.

2. The other races in Mass Effect are actually in a direct conflict with glorious humanity.

3. If the leader of said organisation wasn't a human supremacist.

Murdering potentially thousands of refugees for SCIENCE! isn't exterminating a traitor.

Drivel is a synonym for rubbish.

The only in-game evidence of this was the colonisation of the Skyllian Verge by the Alliance which prompted conflict with the Batarians. Frankly this was never even about the colony rights, the Batarians just disliked humanity and were looking for an excuse. Simple fact is with the size of the galaxy as it is in game; only 1% has been explored/mapped/colonised. I'd say that leaves plenty of room for every race to expand unhindered.

But that is entirely different situation. Naz* ideology stated that there are master human race and lesser human races. That is evil, I agree and I despise that. However, that rule does not apply to aliens at all. You should not be angered by my words, I am not directing my negative attitude at you, my brother human. I am directing them at fictional aliens.

Yet you clearly have a negative attitude towards 'alien sympathisers' and people with 'nihilitic' and 'suicidal' tendencies.
The more I read your arguments the more I realize just how little sense they actually make and how much they contradict each other.
Seriously. Stop arguing already. You're embarassing yourself more and more. I've already told you that exact thing about ten pages ago and look how much you've achieved since then. Your arguments have actually started to contradict each other. At this point it is impossible to take your reasoning serious as it is now self-defeating.

See, your own post contains evidence why we can't trust the aliens. Just look at the batarian hypocrits and douchebags.
