Ah, don't be petty. This is the not the time to bicker and argue about who killed who.

Ok that made me laugh! I loved Miri face in that picture like she's confused thinking she messed up on him or something... I loved the lol I thought you said he was a paragon not a psycopath type lol. I also hated that I couldn't tell TIM with my Akuze Shepard to **** off.

Same, and I figured that's how my Shep would have also reacted in the same situation more or less. Plus don't forget about Admiral Kahoku. Bastards!

Do you guys think Samara should have been a squadmate in ME3?

Yes, from as soon as you meet her again on the Citadel. She joins you, or she can be told to run off and join the fight.

Failing that, it might have been nice to see her as part of a bigger storyline involving the Asari.

I agree. Though I am a biased Samara lover, I still would like to say that there is no reason she couldn't have joined Shepard after her quest was over.

On another note, I would have really liked Mako-explorable areas. I know the 'soul' of the games was different (ME1 was more exploratory while ME3 was more urgent)- but the Mako was just so much fun

Hey, Kahoku was being unreasonable.
The point of those projects was not a "super-soldier". Miranda explains they were meant to create expendable shock troops for high risk scenarios.
It was either kill Kahoku or let him destroy a project that could save the lifes of countless marines. One life vs many.

And what results do we see from the project?  About ******-all, that's what.

Being unreasonable over the loss of an entire unit of Marines to a thresher maw?
And besides, Cerberus has a horrible track record with projects:
Akuze: Maws like to eat things. Also ****** off Shepard.

All of ME1: End up either killing everyone or pissing Shep off more after killing them.

Lazarus: Rebuild Shep. Cool, but then Shep gives TIM the middle finger (yay) and leaves.

EDI/Normandy: Awesome, but then floods Cerberus' servers with 6 zettabytes of (mostly Joker's) porn while giving the middle finger to TIM and leaves with Shep.

Overlord: Rushes project to find way to fight/control the Geth, fails at safety protocols, almost unleashes a human/AI hybrid on the galaxy. Not too mention very very evil treatment of David.

Study dead Reaper: Necessary, but they fail to GTFO after they find out that not everything is quite dead. Ends up Shep's job to finish things.

Study Collector Base Remnants: Ends up developing indoc tech. Indoc's own troops under the hope that they never lose control or that the Reapers pwn the Cerberus signal with thier own.

Kei Leng: Horrible Space Ninja and a tosser.

TIM's own implants: Leads to Reapers indoctrinating HIM.

Yeah... to hell with Cerberus.

Yes, super soldiers... in the command of Cerberus. It's annoying when in-game these experiments get rationalized by the military benefits they would bring, when these military benefits would be to Cerberus - and you can't even point this out on an anti-Cerberus Shep. You just accept that argument.

Countless marines lives were lost in the little 'tests' of that project. If it was successful, the 'super-soldiers' weren't going to be used to defend other marines, they were going to be used by Cerberus.

Because she makes you want to.

Mars: "Hey Shep! You had some slight ties with Cerberus in the past, WHAT DO YOU KNOW TRAITOR?!?!?!"

Citadel: "Ok, you dropped all ties. I get it now."
            Shep: "Finally..."

Citadel Coup: *shoots at you*
"OH MY GOD, Cerberus was just behind us, and you were behind us,  YOU MUST BE WITH CERBERUS!!!"

Shep: "Oh great... here we go again..."

*if you don't kill her*

Normandy Dock: "Hey Shep, I know that I shot at you and was a lying b*tch, but I want to join your crew because we're cool now."

Shep: *<.<* "Seriously? GTFO and work for Hackett! I'm tired of your attitude."

*Shep later realizes that without Ash on board, Ken and Gabby SAY BLOODY NOTHING!*
"FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!"

XD What annoyed me most was that my Shep could express more hatred towards Cerberus than she ever did, yet she still wasn't trusting of him/her over their ties to them.

Seriously Ash... 'They may be Pro-human but they're no friend to the Alliance'? THAT'S your problem with them? If there had been a paragade interrupt for Shepard to turn around and burn HER over her seeming lack of knowledge over what Cerberus really did and stood for I would have been very happy.

...and here goes my inner rant towards Ash over how little she actually seemed to know about Cerberus and some of the things they had done whilst maintaing her suspicions of SHEPARD for working with them for an actually good reason.

And the fact that by ME3, Paragon Shep could have done more to screw Cerberus over than the VS in general ever did. Really A/K, the one who destroyed and screwed over every Cerberus project in sight even whilst WORKING for them is not a likely collaborator.

Okay let's do a list of what humans don't have and in what they suck in the galactic community:

-Krogans are superhuman
-Salarians are super intelligent
-Turians are reliable and better in terms of military
-Asari are the wiser, sexier and more powerful cousins of the humans

The only thing we got going for us is Shepard.

And THIS is now my reasoning for synthesis.

Shepard:..Y'know what. I am the only FREAKING sane person in this entire galaxy, human or not - AND NOW YOU SHALL ALL BECOME PART-SHEPARDS!

Galaxys problems solved.

...Even if that's not how it works. At all. Oh well.

Here is the thing. We have all of this.
We have soldiers who can kill krogans, scientists who are major leads on their fields, our military is capable of contending with the turians, we are much more ambitious than the asari, etc, etc.
We are Jack of all trades and master of none and shall we look at our track record? After only 30 years, humanity has become one of the four most powerful species in the galaxy and we did it without resorting to unprovoked war.

To be honest humanity will always be "pure" mearly because babies with aliens is impossible.

Even Asari sex only makes more Asari.
