Would you space Vega if it meant you could have Grunt as a squaddie?

I don't even need a new character to replace him, as long as that insufferable Vega gets off my ship and I never see him or have to hear him say another word.

So I'd send him over to Allers' room. Given Javik's penchant for "throwing things out the airlock," you can probably guess what happens next.

I'm not 'hating on' Vega, I'm just not a fan of his. Not because he's a bad character per say, though as an Aussie his whole attitude is kinda bizarre, maybe it's more normal for Americans, I don't know. Main reason though is that Vega and Grunt would perform the same role - as the tank of the team.psrz wrote...
If you wanna praise Grunt, do so. If you wanna hate on Vega, do so and be done with it. Using Grunt as an excuse is pretty lame

Vaga is leaps and bounds better than ME1 Kaiden or ME2 Jacob. I don't see Grunt doing much character development though. He's entertaining, not much more.
the only squaddie that vega is better than is.....nobody....i think hed be cool to have for a couple missions and then die WHY CAN HE NEVER DIE? and think about this-hes the voice/ perspective of the "new players/mass audience" parts of me 3 was dummed down and plot hole ridden for, so ya know......

Really, can you see Grunt just up and leaving the group he's in charge of, or Jack just abandoning her students?

I wouldn't take anyone from ME2 back. They've all moved on and found their places. For the majority of them it wouldn't even make sense for them to abandon their new duties/places/people to go help Shepard.

Yep, really they help in their own way. Leaving to go with Shepard is just unnecessary and illogical. Though I think the death of Legion was a bit forced.

With the exception of Mordin and Legion (who DIE), all their reasons were utter horsesh*t.
I'd gladly space Vega and EDI out the airlock for some, if not all, of my ME2 team back.

amen brotha.....the me 2 squad in me3 were written ow they were w/ new attachements and responsibilities cuz bioware decided not to bring them back, that it.......and you mean to tell me miranda or zaeed or kasumi or samara couldnt have come back, at some point, to your crew??

I agree with those last three, especially Zaeed. All he does is stand and stare into space on the Citadel. At the very least, the other former squad members had something, regardless of how stupid it may have been, that gave a reason to not join your squad in ME3. Your Shep should have had the option to influence Samara to overlook her code just this once, yanno, the end of the galaxy and join your squad during that convo on the Citadel.Landon7001 wrote...

How about I keep Vega AND Grunt, and space Liara and Tali instead?
Dont worry, when EA turns this game totally Mass of Duty or Medal of Effect then you can have full ship those moron marine bullies.
