Hi everyone, first of all, english is not my born language, i know some english but just a little so this could possible be a load of grammar and spelling erros, and i am sorry for that.

I have some questions abou Dragon Age Origins: Ultimate Edition, that i recently bought on Steam. I played the game on a cousin house and just loved it. If anyone could help me i would apreciate that.
The Questions are:

- First, i already posted here, but i got no answer so i will ask again, how do i instal the patch 1.05 on the steam version of this? I already have the game settings to auto-update and nothing. I also tried to manual update, i downloaded the patch from bioware website and when i run it, the only thing i get is an error saying that the patch is not intended for Steam users. What can i do?

- Second, i noticed that, since the beggining of my Origins play (Human Noble) till the Ostagar (Before meet Alistar) i received a lot of codex pages, but i got no xp from them, is this a bug? Or is it normal? I have no mods, no tweaks, no changes to the steam instalation of the game, the only thing that i add to the game where the free item dlc (the ones like The Lucky Stone, Helm of the Deep, etc), using the oficial dlc installer.

- Third, is it possible to use my DLC's while playing logged out? I ask this because my internet connection is very, very unstable, and sometimes it simple isn't there, sometimes is just a 10/20 seconds with no internet, other times is hours, and i would like to know if the dlc's will stay authorized if i am logged out.

- Fourth, i also add my steam Dragon Age Origins Key to my Origin account and i would like to know if it is better to install the game using the Origin instead of Steam, Dont get me wrong, i like steam very much, and i never got any problem with them but as Dragon Age Origins is an EA game, and Origin is an EA application, it may get better support am i right? Or is this just stupid to think. Also, steam as a payment method (paysafecard) that i can use in my country (i don't have a internacional credit card), if origin had the same method, i would have bought the game on Origin, but thats no problem at all.

And this are all my questions, i am sorry for being so annoying, but i just want every question solved before i realy play the game.

Thanks in advance.

I don't know about 1 and 2, but the answer to both 3 and 4 is:  "Yes".

3.   Once you have authenticated/authorized the game and any DLC, you never need to connect again.

4.  My blanket recommendation for any issue with a Steam install is to contact EA Customer Service and explain the problem. Say you want to switch to the EA: Origins version. Your game registration code(s) will be valid and they can talk you through the process.

Use the "Support" link under "Help" at the bottom of the page. Then choose "Ask a Game Advisor", and look for the "Live Chat" option.

Hope that helps.  Image IPB
