There is small cat fight if you romance Ashley in ME1 and Tali ME2 + ME3. IT happens at Geth dreadnought, one strong line and Ashley got owned.

The LI confrontations was something I was really looking forward to in ME3.

I didn't really expect it to be a big deal, but I thought it'd be interesting if you were given the option to "lock in" both romances, and be confronted about it at a later point.
It's rare that you see someone actually angry with Shep. And that's fine, usually they're in a situation where you have to kinda put personal relations aside for the sake of the mission. But with something like this, it would give the characters a chance to really get fired up about it. They knew about the other, they gave you the chance to be honest with them, and if you didn't take that chance...
I'm not too upset that it didn't happen. But I'm surprised how well everyone takes it, I guess.

An Ashley/Miri fight would have been popcorn worthy. Shoot, I'd pay to see that. And Liara/anyone would've been great - she got fiesty in LoTSB. Would've loved to hear those lines

I'm glad they didn't waste resources on this. I'm sorry, but watching two grown people bicker over someone does not appeal to me. Especially as all my Shepards are monogamous.

This is one of the reasons only finish two play though. I thought we were told that the cheating on your LI would effect the game.

Particularly when you consier that, well...it's the end of the entire galaxy out there. You'd think the people who are fighting to prevent that would have more pressing concerns than romantic melodrama. I think we can safely assume that development of such would have their resources properly allocated among the various teams if they had the ability to do so. The "they should focus on something else" reason should have been out-of-scope in this discussion. This is a "what-if" scenario.

Wrong. Video only happens if you're romancing both of them.
