You need to run it from the Command Line.

Command line, yes... I don't suppose anyone can post a quick step-by-step instruction guide? Sorry if I seem like an annoying gnat.

You don't really need to use command line, it's enough to drag-and-drop your .xls file onto the icon of ExcelProcessor in Windows Explorer. You can find more detailed overview of the whole process here: http://dragonagemodd...ding-2da-files/

That said, the DA weapons indeed look rather weird when not worn on the back, mostly because of how oversized they are.

Thanks. I take it you have to switch the values before you convert it?

True, and the fact they don't have a sheath. Still, a mage with a longsword or dagger or some such thing looks better with it on the hip than on the back.

It's a combination of things. The oversized nature of the weapons, lack of scabbards (although this is actually fixable, to a degree) and sword belts, (basically, it's hanging in mid air) clipping issues and, IMO more important, is that the sword doesn't move naturally. It sits there rigidly without any movement.

Granted, I haven't played around with it much yet.

Yes, well, I'm not going to mess around anymore as well. *Finishes reinstalling Dragon Age: Origins.*

Thanks everyone.

It seems that every item in the "BITM_base" file has its own WearLeft and WearRight slot. I think that means every weapon can have its own wear slot? Soa long sword and maces can be put away on the hip, a bow and staff on the back... maybe i can have my daggers go in my boot? :)

I didnt have time to mess with it and i want to read up on 2da's before i get into it.

If anyone figured it out step by step, please post it here.

Thanks again.

Correct, you can set different mounting points for all the weapons. All it takes is setting the Wear Left and Wear Right values to 4 and 7, respectively.

For example, in Arms and Armor I have all the 1H weapons and longswords set to mount on the hip, while all 2H weapons go on the back.

Don't know where you'd set a weapon to mount in your boot, tho, and with our oversized daggers they probably wouldn't fit, anyway....

I think those numbers correspond to node points on the model. If there is one on the boot part then you just have to figure out its number, otherwise you would need to edit the model.

Hopefully this tutorial will help. Read it closely, particularly the part about compiling with ExcelProcessor.exe

In the BITM base.xls Change the wearL and wearR in the column of the weapon you want on your hip, lonsword, dagger, etc from 5 and 10 to 4 and 7 or vice versa depending on which weapon you want on what side. Save in override folder in Documents\\\\\\\\Bioware\\\\\\\\Core\\\\\\\\override
