I'm glad you know exactly what she "needs".  You are just so attuned to her and women everywhere.

I would argue that she (not just "she", but anyone) doesn't need someone looking the other way while two people are carrying on making abusive and derogatory comments.  Let's just say I wouldn't want to be your friend.

The issue I have with not saying anything in a situation like that is that it strikes me as tacitly condoning abusive behaviour. You don't have to be patronising to offer someone who is copping random abuse some support.

This is part of the reason I don't make use of my headset unless with friends. Sure, public lobbies could make use of me pointing out phantoms and such, but I've never found it to be a huge enough detriment on gold to encourage me into putting up with the backlash.

Granted, most people on PC don't tend to talk anyway, and those I've encountered are generally pretty decent/humorous. But it's a relic from previous games where anything you did wrong/inadequately was blamed on your gender. And that was if you were lucky.

I get what you mean, Zkyire; she isn't necessarily dependent on someone else to fend off ****s for her.
But, refusing to do anything for that reason regardless of the situation really just perpetuates more of the same problem.
If either one of you wants to know what you should do, just treat her the way you would treat a male in the same situation. That's the only way to solve both problems.
