Eagle got promoted from being ******-poor to simply bad, yay.

The Reapers are the fast pressure group while the Geth are the pin-down group. It's not a buff or nerf. It's increased definition.

The only consumable at max for me is thermal clips, which I hardly use. In a firefight if I'm out of ammo I use one. But otherwise I've made it a habit of always running past an ammo box whenever there's a chance to. That's not bad game play, that's smart gameplay. I'm not the only one who hates seeing +5 thermal clips in a spectre pack. If this means I'll get more sniper rails instead of useless thermal clips, then this is a good move. Also, with the JEP being around forever, it is much easier to keep medigel, rockets, and survival packs at a nice level while still using them.

I think you're overlooking the fact that some of us have no problem spending medigel/rockets but everytime we buy a pack, we get nothing but thermal clips.  Thermal.  Clips.  Which have long since been maxed and end up counting toward nothing.  So now, if I'm reading this right, we won't keep getting thermal clips.  Now we'll get medigel and rockets replenished regularily.  (Am I reading this right?)

The equipment pack isn't giving you any?


Even rockets are not always needed.  I play all three levels depending on mood and character/loadout and it is not usually necessary to use rockets on Bronze and many times Silver.  In gold there are times when they are needed but even then I don't always use all 5.  Now Medigel and Shields are another story.

Jumbo Equipment Pack always gave me at least 5 of each before anything else ... At least until this update now I get alot of bonus things :wizard: I wonder what the bonus item limit is. 255 like the supplies ones or higher? lower?

That extra prime in wave 10 just drastically reduced the usefulness of my Batarians/Turians, 3 stun cannons out at a time? Ouch.

I find the balance changes to the N7 Eagle insulting, puerile, and trollish. I mean, some designer had to actually sit down and say "okay, let's make an Eagle X do just enough damage to beat out the Predator I." The N7 Eagle is still far beyond awful and a slap in the face of gamers who participate in the events.

It looks like they just buffed each commendation weapon by 10%. I don't think that much thought was put into it. Whoever is in charge of this probably just misses his kids.

Oh my god no.  I'm never going to see someone use a rocket or medigel in multiplayer again.  :(


So what? Those items should only be used in situations when your skill fails you. A player with real skill would seldom need to resort to using these items. I am, of course, NOT one of those players, I will continue to use Cobra missiles like they're going out of style.

I really like the equipment changes and character cards giving more xp, as I always promote the second something hits level 20, so the xp should speed up the re-leveling process. I also don't understand why people would ever think they will get rid of maxed character cards. The way it is now, it's possible to buy a billion packs and not get one ultra-rare. It takes longer and can result in never receiving one. They make money off of microtransactions. If you get all of your rares maxed out and maxed out character cards are removed, the amount of money they receive becomes finite, as you are guaranteed to max out all weapons. The way it is now, they have the potential to make infinite money. So before more people say they should remove character cards, just stop and think about if for five seconds and it's very obvious this will never happen. I'm not complaining, as I've said before, I don't mind the extra xp. All I'm saying are all these complaints are pointless as it's something that I personally guarantee will never happen and frankly all the QQ'ing about it is taking over these forums.

Saying a player with real skill doesn't need rockets is like saying a player with real skill doesn't need guns or abilities, its just silly.  A player with real skill will use all of the abilities available to them to their fullest.  And even if you have the perfect group with 4 master players, using rockets will still make the match go faster.

Besides, that lone rocket trooper was just asking for it, walking around flaunting its infinite supply of rockets . . .

You're telling me, I just had to rocket those swarmers! They were everywhere! Yes, I know I only hit one with the rocket, but it was worth every cent. B)
