Ok so if character cards are uncommon now. and u have to get 2 rares or better in a premium specter pack does that give u a higher chance for an ultra rare if u have gold maxed out?

They broke the Geth. Just had a match on silver and there were like 5 prime on wave 7. Wave 10 was like gold. Guess it is time to break open Max Payne and put this game to rest. It is programmed by morons.

Respec cards are uncommon, you still get Rare CCs.

Respec cards are uncommon, you still get Rare CCs.

But to answer your question, no (probably).  The prevailing opinion is that n7 drop rate is hard coded, so you get ~5% chance per slot that gives you a chance.  So if all your golds are maxed out, you have a 90-95% chance of getting a gold character card (regardless of what your maxed characters are... this is the evil truth of the store system).

What it did do though is give you a better chance at maxing out gold weapons.  For example, if you have a Carnifex IX and everything else at X, your chances of getting a Carnifex X just went from (1/13)*0.9 to (1/12)*0.9... or from a 6.9% chance to a 7.5% chance.

Good to see Crusader getting a damage increase; it really needed it in comparison to its weight. Sure, it's a little more powerful than the Saber, but the Saber is lighter and holds a couple of more rounds.

He was making a joke implying that balance changes are based on what people say in the forums, so saying the Hurricane was really powerful would lead to a nerf.

Did you even check the balance changes? They only made changes to Geth on Gold, not Silver.
But if you're going to get all melodramatic over something as trivial as this, feel free to leave; we won't miss you.

I stopped playing multiplayer because of the character cards. Another hour of playing, another PSP with two blank rares as reward. No more.

Sad to see they still haven't been fixed.

Thats IMO pretty bad. As it was prior this update, we could get respec cards as byproduct in Premium Spectre Packs while searching for Ultra Rare weapons. Now we have to waste credits in the Veteran Pack lottery, if we need respec card.


edit: How about adding respec cards into equipment packs?

I played geth 5 times last night - twice with random and it seemed easier to me.

You guys do realize that a weapon that is considered severely underpowered is not going to be fixed with one buff, right?

They've always been doing small buffs bit by bit, because if a huge buff is done all at once there's the potential to buff a weapon/power too much and break the game. Who says this will be the Eagle's only buff? If it's still underpowered -- which seems to be the popular opinion -- they'll buff it again, and rinse & repeat until it's in the right spot, or at least close to it. That's what happened with the Hurricane, so I'm sure the Eagle will follow a similar path.

I got the eagle yesterday.  Giving it the benifit of the doubt, I took it out with piercing/high caliber mods, and after 4 waves switched to the hurricane with ultra light/high caliber mods to finish the rest.   Guess I'm gong back to the carni.
