So everybody post one or more things that you liked about ME3!
I'll start:
Squad interaction and humour.
I have decided to post all of the positive things (excluding the spoilerific ones) that people have said:
Everything aside from the ending
The emotion.
The whole entire game was amazing.
It was in danger of overtaking ME2 on my favourites list.
I loved the game.
I am hooked on MP. Multiplayer is neat on its own, but the running storyline on the bioware blog has its fun too, and I thoroughly enjoy spending time on the bounty weekends.
The SP game had many moving and jaw droppingly awesome moments.
The music was dammed good.
Tuchanka was an awesome mission.
Settling the Quarian/Geth issue so well it'll take a full century for them to cough it back up was nice.
Emergency induction port.
Weapon customization was a nice addition.
Palaven and Tuchanka were definitely two of the best missions in the entire series!
Elcors...
Kaidan and Shepard's date at the Citadel.
Liara's hug & head lean during her final gift.
The amount of weapons, inventory, spot on.
My buddy garrus retalibrating lil miss van normandy.
I liked how your friends now have motivations of their own. They move around the ship and talk to other characters independent of Shepard.
Those final holo and in person conversations were spot on.
I never felt that much of sympathy in previous games toward love interests but i pursued them nevertheless, so i tried to leave miranda in me 3 when we first met, and she started crying and.. i fell in love just there
The sound design (just sublime)The graphics (textures, lighting, scene design, all of it) The jellyfish (not the big stupid one) customization of armor & weapons (yay! colors and lights!) A few specific dialog moments which I cannot name here, lest I spoil. The excursion with garrus on the citadel.
Wrex and his references to Pijaks get me every time!
I really enjoyed messing wtih a certain Salairan on Surkesh and his device.
Never have i been so involved and moved by a game.
The design and soundtrack were greater than i expected.
I like the graphics upgrade a lot.I like the character moments a lot. Somebody on staff is really good at writing character stuff.I like the idea of visiting worlds like Thessia, Sur'Kesh, etc.I like going back to the Presidium.I like multiplayer for the most part.I like the new characters James Vega, Steve Cortez, and Samantha Traynor.I like seeing familiar faces like Dr. Chloe Michel, Conrad Verner, etc.I like male Shepard's leather jacket, and I like the N7 hoodie for both Shepards.I like the new gameplay mechanics for the most part. I like that the squad don't stay confined to their one spot throughout the course of the game.I like the romances for the most part.I like the little robot doggie who kicks his leg when he's asleep on the floor of the shuttle bay.I like that I could catch my wayward Space Hamster down in Engineering.
The camera work was very good, the cinematics (not including dialogue) were inmersive and some parts were very close to the shadow broker dlc in quality.
The gameplay is more fluid than in ME2, it is a better shooter than the other ME games.
The music is generally pretty good, with some extremely good pieces, it really sets the mood for the game.
I enjoyed seeing Ashley again.I enjoyed the seemless transitions from dialogue into action mode. You can finally feel the effect of all the stress that Shepard is going through.
Banter between Garrus and James in the mess kitchen, brilliantly done. The game is amazing.
I felt truly immersed with regard to the characters, their bantering, friendship, emotional moments, the music, the graphics, the epic moments, the last moment with Liara before the final mission. Really I enjoyed the game a lot.
I still have not been able to tear myself from MP.
Looking forward to more MP content.
Gameplay was awesome (Enemy AI was great).
VA successful attempts and improvements.
Chapter 1 and 2The squadThe squad interectinos with eachotherLiara's romanceLevel designWeapons, modding and powersShepardThe final goodbyes at the FOB''I'm proud of you."
"There's a REAPER IN MY WAY, WREX!"Perfect timing, perfect delivery, absolutely great. (Maleshep)
Being able to start a new (post-import play through) and selecting "Numerous"Lacking rep enough to get the extra conversation options and being forced to see a non-optimal dramatic scene to get the war support I wanted (spoiler free, but there was an elevator).
All the ways in which the various crewmembers ventured around the ship, either showing up in cutscenes or finding Garrus on the bridge with Joker cracking jokes. They way they actually interacted with each other regularly.
The fact Kalisah came across as an actual, legitimate person who was paniced and terrified, rather than a joke character to be punched in the face. And if I didn't punch her out or stonewall her, she actually made a news report pleading for unity in the face of what's going on.
The cinematics, particularly Tuchanka with Kalros and the final space battle. Just awesome.
I loved the pacing of the game.
I truly felt like the game was a rush against time.
I felt a genuine dread for the characters because I cared about them so much.
I truly wanted to protect my squad from the dangers of the galaxy both great and small.
ME 3 felt like such a sad goodbye to the characters I have known and loved.
Garrus
I liked how the gravity of the situation was exemplified throughout the game.
There was a lot of dread and almost despair in the atmosphere.
The stress was evident in Shep's expressions and voice.
The devs/artists/writers etc did a swell job in getting the feel of the ''impending doom'' bearing down on the galaxy.
Mars was an awesome mission since it managed to bring back that classic sci-fi vibe present in the original Mass Effect.
Palaven getting destroyed by the reapers was beautiful in a destructive, hopeless sort of way.
Bigger scope/scale.
The humour.
Normandy lighting.
Memorial wall.
Earth at the beginning.
Airlock.
Liara's romance storyline.
Wrex's banter.
PWNING a banshee with a falcon.
Bro time with Garrus.
