<3 the sound design (just sublime)
<3 the graphics (textures, lighting, scene design, all of it)
<3 the jellyfish (not the big stupid one)
<3 customization of armor & weapons (yay! colors and lights!)
<3 a few specific dialog moments which I cannot name here, lest I spoil

I liked the ending where they set up indoctrination theory for the coming extended cut so perfectly

I like the graphics upgrade a lot.

I like the character moments a lot. Somebody on staff is really good at writing character stuff.

I like the idea of visiting worlds like Thessia, Sur'Kesh, etc., though I had hoped we'd be able to visit Palaven proper.

I like going back to the Presidium.

I like multiplayer for the most part.

I like the new characters James Vega, Steve Cortez, and Samantha Traynor.

I like seeing familiar faces like Dr. Chloe Michel, Conrad Verner, etc.

I like male Shepard's leather jacket, and I like the N7 hoodie for both Shepards.

I like the new gameplay mechanics for the most part.

I like that the squad don't stay confined to their one spot throughout the course of the game.

I like the romances for the most part.

I like the little robot doggie who kicks his leg when he's asleep on the floor of the shuttle bay.

I like that I could catch my wayward Space Hamster down in Engineering.

1) The camera work was very good, the cinematics (not including dialogue) were inmersive and some parts were very close to the shadow broker dlc in quality.

2) The gameplay is more fluid than in ME2, it is a better shooter than the other ME games.

3) The music is generally pretty good, with some extremely good pieces, it really sets the mood for the game.

Sorry i can´t think of anything else, the rest is either much worse, slightly worse or average. The romances are in my opinion average and similar to ME2, same with graphics which are very similar to ME2, nothing that could be defined as a significant improvement.

I didn´t count multiplayer becasue i don´t play it, but i think it qualifies as improvement for those who do play.

Even a positive thread can't avoid having people complain about the ending...but I digress:

I enjoyed seeing Ashley again.

I enjoyed the seemless transitions from dialogue into action mode.

You can finally feel the effect of all the stress that Shepard is going through.

where is that? I never noticed it :o

Another part I loved was the banter between Garrus and James in the mess kitchen, brilliantly done

Almost everything. There are a few flaws, but I still think the game is amazing.

wow, so many good points, and I feel the same. aside from the ending issues, the rest of the game was great. I felt truly immersed with regard to the characters, their bantering, friendship, emotional moments, the music, the graphics, the epic moments, the last moment with Liara before the final mission. really I enjoyed the game a lot despite the ending.

also MP. I still have not been able to tear myself from MP to do another SP run. looking forward to more MP content.

Keep up the good work BW!!

those final holo and in person conversations were spot on. also, i never felt that much of sympathy in previous games toward love interests but i pursued them nevertheless, so i tried to leave miranda in me 3 when we first met, and she started crying and.. i fell in love just there :)

I actually did the same because I wanted to stay loyal to Ashley (as loyal as you can be when I was banging Miranda while Ashley was gone anyway) ... and I immediately quit, reloaded and did it again so I didn't make her cry.

Man, women can manipulate me too easily.

The characters (writing) Rough in the beginning, but got much better.

Gameplay was awesome (Enemy AI was great)

The enemies types. My favorites were:

Banshees
Nemesis
Assault Troopers + Engineers
Husks (well, my (flamethrower) turrets loved them at least, but loved Cerberus more!! :D)
Phantoms (though I couldn't stand him)

The soundtrack:

The "Cerberus combat tracks" (can't name them all)
Sur'kesh
Atlas ^ "Boss"

VA successful attempts and improvements

SFX and visuals (especially enacting power combos)

Though combat chatter is less frequent, the timing is what trumps it (ie: Banshee scream then appears: "This one has a temper!") Speaking of which I like the sudden burst of humor evoked in some characters or improvements upon those who had this trait.) Pretty much the writing and VA work again.

Don't have Live, so can't play MP, but from what I have seen it looks good!

Being able to start a new (post-import play through) and selecting "Numerous"

Lacking rep enough to get the extra conversation options and being forced to see a non-optimal dramatic scene to get the war support I wanted (spoiler free, but there was an elevator)

All the ways in which the various crewmembers ventured around the ship, either showing up in cutscenes or finding Garrus on the bridge with Joker cracking jokes. They way they actually interacted with each other regularly. Mass Effect 1 and 2 just didn't have that feeling.

Also, the fact Kalisah came across as an actual, legitimate person who was paniced and terrified, rather than a joke character to be punched in the face. And if I didn't punch her out or stonewall her, she actually made a news report pleading for unity in the face of what's going on. I wish I could've seen it rather than just read about it on my war assets terminal.

I also wish she was the reporter who asked to come aboard flbnajbmn.

I loved the pacing of the game. I truly felt like the game was a rush against time and it was the only game I have played since Metal Gear Solid 4 where I felt a genuine dread for the characters because I cared about them so much. Like Mass Effect 2, I truly wanted to protect my squad from the dangers of the galaxy both great and small. Few works of entertainment have moved like the Mass Effect series and ME 3 felt like such a sad goodbye to the characters I have known and loved.
