First off - thank you all you modders out there for making the game even better, whiter teeth for example was a must have, but there are ofcourse some other things that we could use, apart from the next morrigan re-do.

I have a fairly limited understanding of modding myself, I can make a face morph, but what I can do just about stops there....

I would love to see some better hair models!? Anyone making any already? Especially long hair would be fab, I'll take any clipping for granted.

Or just a usuable version of the lady of the forest hair maybe? If someone will teach me how I'll even do it myself :)

Other then that, there is this gorgeous robe on the launcher,(thumbs up for the artist) and I'd love to see that in game, or any robes looking less square and chunky then the ones currently availble....

Also a better bodies mod would be much appreciated. With less saggy breasts and smaller hands... I mean there really big.....(the hands) compared to the rest of the body.

If any of this is already out there can you point me in the right direction?

Thank you!
Eltanin

Again if someone is willing to teach me how to do one, I prommis to do a bunch more and upload them :) or if someone feels tempted to do one then please!! Do!!

Are body models even possible yet?

I think I read there is/was a problem regarding importing the models into the game or something like that (I have absolutely no idea about this stuff so don't take this very seriously) but yeah, when hair and body models can be moded this are going to get really interesting.

I understand that adult male human beings tend to have a similar body structure in optimal physical condition, but Wynne having the exact body model as Morrigan is quite not right.

Long hair would be pretty hard to do - not quite impossible...just very, very hard to do properly.

The reason is how the models are organized - the hair is separate from the body. Consider what would happen to a long hair model if the body model changes - for example if the character changes armour. The hair does not implement any kind of physics and it would stay right where it was - probably either resulting in it floating in an unnatural way behind the body, or severely clipped with the armour model.

This is not a problem for the lady of the forest, as she never changes armours. So, unless you want to make a new version of the hairstyle for every armour, or have your long-haired characters only running around in their underwear, this is not at all easy to solve.

Adinos: would it not be possible to include the body animation skeletons in the hair model, and weight the hair appropriately? The turning of a character's head effects the armour on certain robes, so I don't think it would be entirely impossible, just, as you said, hard to do. But you know much more about this sort of thing than I, and I speak only from experience in other engines - I'm not sure how mesh weighting works in this one.

Hi guys,

Thanks for you replies sofar guys, like I said, I know next to nothing about modding, but even though it would be a lot of work, when its been figured out how to do it for one set of long hair, couldn't other modders then add there own styles and colours? If the solution be posted as a modding resource?

Anyone have any idea on the robe in the launcher? I mean, I'm not exactly a girly girl, but I do love that look and like I said, I would be willing to learn how to make some stuff myself,,,

Actually if there are any instructions on repainting and restyling clothes and armour then could someone point me in the right direction?
