Considering we have just barely over a week left -in- the month... expect something next week.

If they where going to wait this long, why bother teasing it on the previous operation? I'm more along the lines that if it's not released this week I'll be taking my money over to Diablo 3 and will use my excessive wealth there =D

This is a free DLC along with the other Free DLC and Free Ending DLC.

You have no entitlements.

Actually, I have one. To spend my money on something else.

But by all means, they can do whatever they want. I'm not arguing that. I'm just saying I'm feeling let down by the tease after tease without results so I've decided to take my money some other place. And that is my right, no matter how hip you kids think throwing the word "entitlement" is.

I'm guessing if there isn't any news about it today or tomorrow, the DLC won't be out this week. If it's not this week, I'm pretty sure many players will jump ship and try out other games. Just a guess though.

Today is a holiday in Canada, so I doubt they'll release anything today.

It's still technically just a rumor. There hasn't been any actual confirmation on anything. But it's looking like we'll hear something about it pretty soon.

This, but likely before the end of the month.

Really just a rumor? I remember someone (i wonder who that could have been:P) posting something like  "Already, we are implementing plans to supply our forces with a better arsenal so that, when we next meet the enemy, they are ours" after operation silencer

Anyone else notice over the weekend that the Resurgence blurb is gone from the main menu....

May Payne, Dragons dogma, Ghost recon, Diablo. yeah. And both Dogma and Ghost recon come out this friday. I'll be one of  those leaving if it's not released. So not plain wrong.

Preeeeeetty sure that if you were interested in one, or all of those games, that you'd forgo playing ME3 (at least for a while) for them regardless of DLC or not...

Not necessarily. I used to have a full party on Xbox Live that would play regularly. Most have already moved on. I only have one friend now that I play on a semi-regular basis, and both of us are getting kinda bored. I have games in my backlog, and a Diablo 3 trial just begging for me to click the "upgrade" button.

People can say "play several games at the same time" all they want, but from my experience, as soon as my friends and I have stopped playing a game regularly, we pretty much have stopped playing the game. We'll probably go back to it when the DLC comes out, but by then we'll probably be more invested in other games.

Not that I'm complaining. I got plenty of fun out of this game as is. I'm just agreeing that if the DLC doesn't come out soon, I know I'll be jumping ship.

Not to be that guy, but as you can see from other commenters, I'm not all that wrong Image IPB

Sorry, I don't mean to rub it inn, but I've read around the forum and gotten the general opinion people of this mindset (not saying everyone, just those with this mind set) have.

That's just the thing. I have 80 bucks in my gaming "funds" and if I don't get to spend them soon on some new DLC content, I'll be spending them on another game and if I do that... Well, as mentioned above, some people just don't do the "playing multiple games" thing Image IPB

1) ME3 DLC will more than likely be free. Nothing thus far has hinted at otherwise.
2) People who are already bored of this game and are interested/thinking of playing another game(s) are GOING to leave (even if temporarily) and play them regardless of DLC.

And lets say DLC comes out this very moment... oh look, the people who were threatening to leave just a minute ago will still leave for other games after a week or 2 has passed.

When it comes to single player games, I actually play several at a time. I was talking more about multiplayer games. If I hop on Xbox Live and see my friends playing Mass Effect 3 multiplayer, it encourages me to jump in and play a few rounds. It's actually how the system was designed. The only problem is, once your friends stop playing, you're less likely to play. This is why sometimes the playerbase in online games just falls off a cliff.

I really think the player-base has already jumped ship on ME3 multiplayer. I have literally dozens upon dozens of friends that I added when I began ME3 multi and now I'm lucky if even one of them is playing ME3 - ever.

As it stands I would imagine some friends will come back once this DLC releases, but how many and for how long? I'm currently not spending any of my credits so that when this does release I can buy Premium Spectres and try out the new stuff...after that I think ME3 is shelved for me.

Possibly, I don't think that's the case, but I don't think the two of us will agree on the subject so lets just agree to disagree Image IPB

And yes, I was assuming the DLC would be free, I was going to use the money for packs Image IPB

Now it is you who is "Just plain wrong" If there is a DLC released this week, I will contiue to play Mass Effect, as I know nothing about those other games, they may look like fun, but they could completey suck. I know what to expect from Mass Effect.

Demos are barely represenative of a full games experience. Playing a 10 minute cave scene from Skyrim wouldn't do the game justice, just as the demo of Dogma didn't.
