And as I said before, I have a carnifex ready if it is Protheans.

Knowing BioWare is very lazy / cheap, its going to be something already present in ME3 (they wont do new character models).and it uses humanoid skeleton (they wont do new animations). I think that leaves us with Protheans and ex-Cerberus.
Yeah, bioware the company known for sprawling, fully voice acted RPGs of unparalleled epic scale is pretty lazy. When are they gonna get off thier asses and do something?
The reality is that there are probably limitations to what dlc can put into the game, so I doubt we will see anything non-humanoid.
Thank you for posting this so we didn't have to.
My bet is Ex-Cerberus.

Whether people like it or not but Protheans does sound like the best fit for the Pheonix class. They have a powers, a weapon and character (jarvik model) in game already.
Also ex cerberus goes more against the story than protheans, since cerberus is controlled by reapers. Protheans not as much because after thought being extinct for 50,000 years One is suddenly found. So more could still be around since they did have an empire of many planets.
But this is just my opinion, we will have to wait and see.
Glad to get a jungle map and city map even though its thessia and not london.

DA:O was one of the last western RPG that was not fully voiced - its pretty much standard this generation.jaDanger wrote...

There are many limitations even in SP campaign, I wont go blaming DLCs...

Realistically I have no clue. If it's Ex-Cerberus, does that mean partially indoctrinated humans? Whatever species it is, are they more suited towards Biotics, or are they just filling out the two Biotic classes until the next pack where we'd see more variation? Going with the info available, I'm inclined to lean towards Prothean. I don't entirely expect it, but I'm not quite sure what else makes sense.

Raloi fit into the "not going to happen, ever" tier because they don't even have character model at all, let alone ones rigged for combat (i.e. can carry weapons) with full animations.Trippid wrote...
Would love to see Raloi. I assume however that they fit into the tier of species (Hanar, Volus, Elcor, etc) that aren't quite viable as quick paced team players. I can dream though.

What would ex-cerberus "race" do that's so special?
They'd hate all aliens and get a rage bonus when on teams of non humans.

ex cerberus i think other wise rebellion seems like an odd name for the dlc
You make a good point, but how does "Phoenix" relate to ex-Cerberus?

Yes, this would make an ex-Cerberus class playable lol...

Phoenix does seem like Protheans, of course.
It seems like there has to be at least one class that rebelled against someone, though.

Cerberus member see this and are rebelling. They are arguably rising from the ashes of what used to be a benevolent, albeit misguided, force for humanity.

We've been over this a million times. It's ex Cerberus.
No. Why would ex Cerberus be Vanguards and Adepts? Definitely Protheans.
Although I'm not sure I agree it's Cerberus, this wouldn't debunk the idea. Cerberus has been known to tinker in biotics.
From what I've seen so far, I'd say an Ex-Cerberus would either be an Infiltrator (Fund it EA) or an engineer- or both.
