It was also used in the accidental PS Asia blog leak.
The same one that Chris came in and said "lol no" about this morning?
I thought Chris had just said the date was off?
Uhhh... maybe.

Wonder if you need the DLC 'from Ashes' to play the DLC Rebellion's Protheans... ;-)

Intersting, but they don't use weapons...
Could be an interesting new enemy to fight though...

Elcor would be the shizz too. I don't mind using 2 fat shotguns at the same time.. teammates can get on top for a speed boost and some emotional support ha.

actually if you read the wiki im pretty sure it says they can but prefer not to
http://masseffect.wikia.com/wiki/Rachni_Soldier
Rachni Soldiers are slower, but much larger creatures than Rachni Workers,
with thin tentacles ending in little pods. These tentacles are used to
impale enemies - the rachni can use weapons but prefer to use these
tentacles to impale their victims. They can also spit acid, causing
heavy toxic damage. Rachni Soldiers are cunning and like to ambush their
enemies. They are most at home in vents and tunnels.
by the way the picture is of a brood warrior which has some biotic abilities (warp, stasis and barrier)

Protheans make a lot of sense.
That's why I'm guessing Hanar.

You know, watch the DLC come out and it's something else entirely. Not ex-Cerberus or Protheans.
I've heard some rumours of it being Collectors, although that would be the same as getting a Turian Husk or something lol.

He says things like:
"Why didn't I just go up to the Citadel with Shepard?"
and
"My class is more useless than the Quarians uggggh...."

The in game quotes would be awesome for Elcor.
Annoyed, watch your fire.
Urgently, cover me.
Grimly resolved, banshees
Overflowing with pride, mission accomplished.
Yes this definitely needs to happen.

Phoenix Adept
Powers :
1) Biotic Guard : Amplifies biotic skills. Deals more biotic damage, higher recharge rate for all powers, faster shield recharge and health regeneration. Detonate Biotic Guard to instantly recharge shields. Slows movement and gun reload speed by 50%. Base recharge : 12 seconds.
Rank 1 : 10% more biotic damage, 15% faster recharge for all powers, detonate to recharge 50% of shields
Rank 2 : 25% recharge speed.
Rank 3 : 15% faster shield recharge, 20 points health regeneration per 5 seconds.
Rank 4 : +15% faster shield recharge, +30 points health regeneration per 5 seconds
or +20% more biotic damage, +15% faster recharge for all powers
Rank 5 : 30% recharge speed
or +50% shields recharged upon detonation, reduced movement and reload penalty by 30%
Rank 6 : 100% health regeneration upon detonation
or +30% more biotic damage, 30% faster recharge for all powers
2) Warp
3) Channel : Absorbs health of unshielded enemies to regenerate nearby allies health. Deals damage to shielded targets instead. Base recharge speed : 8 seconds
Rank 1 : Damage : 300, recovers 25% health of all nearby allies (up to 5m). 100% damage to shielded or armor targets.
Rank 2 : 20% faster recharge
Rank 3 : +25% damage increase
Rank 4 : +25% damage increase
or recovers 50% health of all nearby allies (up to 5m)
Rank 5 : +30% damage increase
or increase range of regeneration by 50% (up to 7.5m) and +20% faster recharge
Rank 6 : +30% damage increase
or the ability to absorbs health and shields of armored targets
4) Assassin Training : More weapon damage, Weapons weight reduction, Increased movement speed and reload speed of weapons.
5) The Phoenix : More health and shields, Increased biotic damage and recharge speed.
So, pretty much with this class, it's all about versatility. You can either play support (Biotic guard for max health and shields regeneration, Channel for max health recovery of nearby allies, Assassin training focusing on weight reduction, and The Phoenix on increase biotic damage and recharge speed) or aggro (Biotic Guard for max power damage and recharge, warp for max damage and detonation, Channel for max damage) or even a phew-phew shooter (Biotic Guard spec for reduced movement and speed penalty with health and shield regeneration, Assassin Training for more weapon damage and increase reload speed and The Phoenix for more health and shields).

wouldn't that......be kinda weird. IMO - seems it would break the story "lore"
unless I'm wrong on this: only Javik was the only Prothean. Can't see how any other survived.
I find this line of argument unconvincing. Didn't Javik himself completely shatter the lore? For the last two games, Protheans were extinct for 50,000 years. Can't see how any of them survived.
I get where people are coming from when they say this, but Bioware hasn't seemed particularly concerned with keeping lore intact.
I hear you.
though IMO - like to see a new type of alien race
BW created a vast and ingenious ME Universe. I like reading the history of the different races. I hope the ME legacy continues (through prequels or sequels)
Doesn't always need to be shepard. Wouldn' t mind playing as a Krogan or something through the Krogan Rebellions
