I sincerely hope that the Phoenix are turian biotics. Protheans would
just be disappointing for Bioware, as it was just established that Javik
was the last prothean. Putting them in Multiplayer would not only
undermine a large part of the lore, but it would also undermine Javik as
a character.

In the next Operation weekend, Bioware could easily have an Operation annoucement that states "Alliance forces have discover another Prothean bunker with functional pods.  The newly awakened Prothean group is eager to join the fight."

Lore will be satisfied.

I know everybody and their dog has already completed the campaign, but I was waiting to have them add that different ending first that they said they would.

She doesn't betray in all games. Its a spoiler if you made the same decision on Noveria in ME as Tre.Kill did.

We definitely arent going to be getting to play as any races that dont have some type of human skeleton to work off of. Thats why we are getting the Vorcha for christs sakes. They are the last alien species built like the humans in some way.

Well, I suppose you could make them have bioitc abilities if you exposed them to enough eezo. You don't need smarts to be biotic (Thessia is mentioned as having biotic fauna), but I would guess that you need them to do complex things like make singularities/biotic barriers. Whenever biotic training is mentioned its always fairly intense.

So, what powers should we expect to see on our turian female pheonix class biotics?
Also, how will bioware manage to give them enormous chest ornaments with that big turian armor. I personally feel the turian boob conundrum is why we haven't seen turians in game yet.

If its prothean we know how bad the extended cut is going to be. Judging by the "rebellion" title im thinking cerberus, it just makes sense. Unless they tie more protheans into the main story (via dlc of course) I dont see it working.

It's probably Protheans somehow. I'm just guessing, but the name of the Javik DLC is "From Ashes" which is typically a phrase used to describe how a Phoenix is born. They will probably say that they grew them in a tank somewhere like Grunt, or they found a hidden stash of them.
