Yet another IT theory--was Joker indoctrinated in ME3?

(reposting here from another thread due to FTL forums)

Ok, how's this for an out-of-nowhere twist...

What character has
been around an IFF almost continuously since the end of ME2 and throughout ME3 non-stop, has encountered Sovereign to some extent in ME1*AND* has committed a seemingly mind-boggling betrayal at the likely
climax of the trilogy in ME3 for no apparent reason?

That's right...

JOKER has been Indoctrinated!

He never leaves the ship and is constantly around EDI, who was constructed out of Reaper technology and was partially infected with a Reaper virus during ME2, as well as being around the IFF on the Normandy for ME2 and
ME3.

EDI gaining a physical body allowed for the possibility of physical seduction and gratification as the final means of
Indoctrination to break Joker during ME3 (Indoctrination may not need to be violent--see Star Trek: First Contact as an example of this theme).

EDI is the one that convinces Joker to leave Shepard on the battlefield after receiving a communication from Harbinger that Shepard was killed via laser blast at the Conduit on Earth. Joker is then fleeing the Catalyst blast to try to save EDI at EDI's prompting (she doesn't see what effect the blast has on the other Reapers, but knows the Catalyst firing can't be a good thing for the Reapers)

(For the sake of this crackpot theory, we will assume that Priority Earth squaddies appearing later on the crashed Normandy are simply a coding glitch on Bioware's part. )

As long as one Reaper (or EDI) exists on this side of a Mass Relay, more Reapers (if they exist) could be Relayed in, so EDI fleeing could be a Reaper failsafe option.

that doesn't explain why Garrus or Liara would leave earth and board the ship.

They were also indoctrinated.

I think Conrad Verner was indoctrinated.

And Blasto. Also Blasto.

That's why I listed any of the Priority Earth squad members being on board the Normandy after the crash as a coding glitch on Bioware's end in the theory premise; for this theory to hold up, an assumption would need to be made that those characters shouldn't be there are rendered because the game's logic didn't check to see who your Beam-rushing squaddies when determining who should be in the planetside cinematic.

And for the record, I don't take this particular IT-variation I've posted here seriously. It's simply an attempt to reconcile both IT and that people seem to be really hung up on Joker fleeing. There will be no "nerd rage" on my end if people discount the theory or find fault with the premise.
